Ideally located in the Chablais Valley, the Eterlou B residence is situated in Richebourg, at an elevation of 1,000 meters, in the hamlet of Abondance, designated a “Land of Art and History.”
Beautifully appointed, comfortable, and cozy, on the 1st floor of a large chalet. The 27 m² southwest-facing apartment is very bright and functional.
SUMMER 2024 RATES: depending on the period, from €340 to €400 for 7 nights.
LOCATION:
Close to La Chapelle-d’Abondance and Châtel, 200 m from the bus stop, and near Abondance. Quaint villages just a stone’s throw from Switzerland and 30 km from Lake Geneva.
AMENITIES:
Well-equipped kitchenette: oven/grill, microwave, glass-ceramic cooktop, raclette/pierrade set, fondue set, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator with freezer, vacuum cleaner – Dining area - Living area with 1 140-couch bed (Bultex mattress), an armchair (can sleep one child), TV – Enclosed bedroom with window (1 140 bed), 2 nightstands, and a wardrobe – Bathroom with bathtub, under-sink shelves, hair dryer, bathroom scale – Separate toilet – Hallway with coat hooks and closet (hanging space/shelves).
In the summer, you can enjoy a beautiful fishing trip on the “Dranse” river, which is a designated fishing area, as well as whitewater activities and rock climbing (via ferrata) right across from the residence. A paved path along the river, next to the residence, allows you to walk or bike to Abondance or La Chapelle d’Abondance and all the way to Châtel. Close to Switzerland and Lake Geneva with its historic and fishing villages, and of course numerous marked hiking trails accessible to all skill levels, you can either enjoy the mountains with your family on easy trails to discover mountain lakes and perhaps spot some ibex, or set out on more challenging hikes to conquer the Cornettes de Bises or Mont de Grange. Don’t miss the Châtel aquatic center, just a 10-minute drive from the residence. Numerous sports and cultural activities and events.
MISCELLANEOUS: There is no carpet in the apartment, and the bedding is hypoallergenic.
However, pets are not allowed.
I don’t live on-site, but don’t worry—I’ll send you the keys by registered mail with return receipt requested. I’ll ask you to return them to me at the end of your stay using the same method.
