About this apartment rental
The cosy apartment in an old “Forsthaus” is situated in Bermatingen, a quiet area just outside of Markdorf and serves as an ideal starting point for hikes along vineyards and shore excursions around Lake Constance. The 60 m² apartment consists of a living room, a bedroom as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 2 people. Additional amenities include satellite television, toys and board games. The apartment has a private open terrace with a little table and chairs for you to have breakfast in the sunshine, as well as a shared garden area with a barbecue for tasty dinners with a glass of wine.
Not far from our house there is a horse farm, which offers pony rides for children free of charge. In Markdorf, a 5-minute drive (2.6 km) from the apartment, you will find supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, cafés and restaurants, as well as a train station. You will reach the closest beach of Lake Constance after 11 km or an 18-minute drive to the little town of Immenstaad. Here you can take refreshing swims in the clear blue water and enjoy the wonderful panorama with views of the Swiss Alps. After 14 km or a 19-minute drive to the ferry terminal in Meersburg, you can cross the lake to Konstanz. The city is famous for its picturesque old town centre with historical buildings and a medieval cathedral. The pretty lakeside town of Friedrichshafen is a 14-minute train ride away, where you can stroll about the lovely promenades and visit the Zeppelin museum. A zoo, Affenberg Salem, is 15 km or a 17-minute drive west of the apartment. The beautiful Lake Constance region offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling, and in winter, you can also go skiing only an 18-minute drive (14.4 km) away.

Pros: The owners lived onsite but, we did not feel like we were being watched. They contacted us prior to arrival and on leaving the property. Friendly hosts. Short drive away from the Lake and amenities.
Cons: No wifi or phone signal within the apartment. The apartment smelled quite damp - the owner had plugged in an air freshner. Note for any dog owners be aware there are numerous cats/kittens around the property. It would also be nice to have some information leaflets in English.

Pros: Wir waren drei Wochen zu Gast und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das freundliche und unkomplizierte Miteinander hat das Angebot sehr gut ergänzt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Cons: Es gab nichts zu meckern.

Pros: Sehr freundliche Vermieter.Sie wohnen oben im Haus.Alles war sehr sauber und die Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit
Cons: Leider lag das Haus etwas außerhalb, so das man auf jeden Fall ein Auto braucht.Leider gibt es in der Unterkunft keinen Telefonempfang. Weder Internet noch Anrufe möglich
