About this apartment rental
Located in a private subdivision, in a quiet area, 2 minutes by car from the town center of Trois-Ilets where all the restaurants, shops are located, and on the Slave Savannah road, this 1-bedroom accommodation, called "Case Coco" in bottom of villa is completely independent and benefits from a beautiful comfort space that can accommodate 4 people. Equipped with a private spa, and an adjoining swimming pool of 10 m by 4 m, and above all heated. The accommodation overlooks the village of Trois Ilets and offers a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea, the Pelée mountain, the Fort de France bay classified since 2012 among the most beautiful in the world, and the Lamentin. You are close (10 minutes by car) to the first fine sandy beaches and pretty fishermen's coves (Anse Mitan, Anse à l'Ane, Méridien beach, Grande Anse d'Arlet, Anse Dufour, and Anse Noire) where you can swim in peace. You will reach the Diamant beach and its Rock in 20 minutes. The southern beaches (Anse Figuier, Pointe Borgnèse, Anse des Salines, Ilet Chevalier) are located 40 minutes maximum.
DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATION "Case Coco": Very airy, the accommodation includes mosquito nets on all windows, except for the two sliding doors at the entrance.
An air-conditioned room with a large double bed and its hotel mattress, the mosquito net around the bed, the adjoining dressing room with small safe, the office area and the Martinique tourist guides made available to help you discover the island and its treasures. All linens are provided: sheets, towels and tea towels.
A bathroom with a large walk-in shower equipped with a washbasin, a hairdryer, a magnifying mirror and a toilet.
A second independent WC with washbasin.
A large living room with 2 ceiling fans, a 120 cm flat screen TV including ORANGE TV, a DVD, a sofa bed with the possibility of 2 additional beds.
An equipped kitchen with dining area open to the living room, equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob and extractor hood, oven and microwave, American fridge with water and ice dispenser, electric grill, a Dolce Vita coffee maker with easy capsules available in convenience stores.
4 chocolate capsules, 4 tea capsules, 4 coffee capsules. A fruit juice and two bottles of water, butter, jam, bread and sugar are offered to you at the entrance to your stay for your breakfast the next morning.
A laundry room with washing machine, drying machine and drying rack, iron and ironing board and equipped with a transportable mini fridge for picnics, freezer. It is rechargeable on the car battery (it should preferably be two to transport it: dimensions: 70 cm long by 40 cm wide and 35 cm high).
The kitchen and the living room open onto a furnished terrace with an extending table (from 4 to 6 people), 2 deckchairs and a private Spa located under a typical tropical hut with its additional outdoor shower
For relaxation, you can enjoy a 2-seater Brazilian hammock, housed between 2 coconut trees.
All linens are provided (sheets, towels, tea towels).

LOCAL STORES
For racing, no problem! You will find local shops 2 minutes by car, at the entrance to the village of Trois Ilets: petrol station, a small shopping center with its excellent bakery and all its homemade products, a wine cellar, restaurants and fast food restaurants , organic and other products, a mini-market, a pharmacy open even on Sunday mornings, the post office, ATMs, and a car rental agency.
Also take advantage of the fresh products that are offered at the local market, shops and restaurants. If you wish, you can consider on site at home aesthetic or relaxing treatments, face and body, beauty hands and feet.
TOURISM:
You can visit the church in the village of Trois Ilets, where the Empress, Joséphine de Beauharnais, was baptized.
You can take the maritime shuttle which takes you directly to the heart of Fort de France in 20 minutes to discover the library of Schœlcher, Saint Louis cathedral, Fort Saint Louis, Place de la Savane, the Grand Marché, the Fish Market , the Craft Market, the Town Hall, and the cinemas.
10 minutes by car, you reach the nearest beaches:
the beaches of Anse Mitan and Anse à l'Ane, both covered with white sand, with clear, calm turquoise water, which are renowned for their activities: water sports, bars, music restaurants, disco. Le Méridien beach, made up of pretty little shaded coves, borders Anse Mitan beach in a quieter environment, you will enjoy swimming in peace. Renowned for the splendor of its seabed and the quality of the mooring that it offers to passing boats, Grande Anse d´Arlet is a beautiful beach with fine sand, in a semicircle. Anse Dufour, a beach with golden blond sand and Anse Noire, a beach with black sand, are home to picturesque fishermen's huts. The Diamant beach, with more tumultuous water, and its Rock is located 20 minutes away. 10 mins by car, on the golf course, you can reach Pointe du Bout, a true seaside resort with its Marina and its adjoining beaches. There you will find many outings at sea with the ritual "P'tit Punch", you can go to meet dolphins, turtles, bats, whales, scuba diving, fishing big, boat, sail, etc. Water sports clubs located on the beaches are also available (Scuba diving, jet ski, kitesurf, windsurfing, towed buoy, kayak, paddle etc.). To access it, you will have to pass through the Creole village which will seduce you with its casino, its trendy shops full of souvenirs, its bars, ice cream parlors, crêperies and restaurants open every day and late at night. - the Zoo, on the most pleasant route, in the town of "Le Carbet",

I normally don’t write rave reviews about anything but I must say I was impressed with Case Coco.
First off, the owners are both exceptionally nice and welcoming. They spent time showing us the apartment when we arrived. They even left a welcome folder with us documenting where to eat, what to do in each town, where to go for the best beaches or rhum distilleries to visit (side note: Dillon does not do visits anymore, but the nearby La Favorite distillery has a self-guided tour and tasting), etc… The notes in the folder are in French, succinct, but very well documented, and much better than the research we had done before going to Martinique! This was very useful to us, and we took this folder with us while driving around the island.
Regarding the apartment itself, it is spotless (like brand-new), as described. Plenty of towels, big screen TV, gated with remote control, etc… It is also well located, quiet, and within a walking distance to “La Guérande”, the local bakery, good for breakfast, and lunch.
For us, this apartment worked great. This was our first week in Martinique, and we had chosen to spend our second week at the nearby hotel La Pagerie, just to get something different. We were able to wash our clothes at Case Coco, without worrying about the second week.
There is also a phone that you can use to call the local restaurants… That was also very useful for us, just like the sun umbrella for the beach, etc, etc… and I probably forget other things…
In many ways, Case Coco was actually better than the more expensively priced and smaller hotel room, and still a driving distance from the Pointe-Du-Bout (about 15 minutes).
At the end of our stay, our host at Case Coco brought us some accras (sorry we could not eat them all!). All of this contributed to a wonderful experience in Martinique.

The apartment is perfect, well stocked up for self catering with foods and crockery available to use. Complimentary bottles of rum, and punch is always a winner! Fridge freezer which dispenses cold water and ice, which we filled our bottles up everyday. Even picnic boxes and tupperware containers all on hand which again, we used on a daily basis. Much needed air con is in the bedroom so no problems sleeping in the heat if you're not used to it, like us!! Washing machine, tumble dryer.. Basically a home away from home. That's how we felt! Oh and the hot tub is a great touch too. We have spent a lot of time sat in the patio area, watching lots of lizards and birds, and even some beautiful hummingbirds!
The walk into town is not far, there's a bolangerie/patisserie close by, aswell as a cashpoint and a few little shops. Les trois ilets doesn't have an awful lot to do directly in the town be warned! There's some amazing restaurants all within 5km, so we would recommend anyone to have a rental car. It makes things much easier on the island anyway! We used ours virtually everyday, and the roads are OK to drive, if sometimes a little steep!! Beautiful beaches nearby also, great for snorkelling.. Again easier to get to with a car.
All in all would happily come back to this apartment, and highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay :)
