We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It is very comfortable, well-decorated, super clean, with good well-made beds, heating for cool nights, a well equipped kitchen and nice living area. The deck with pool, gazebo and BBQ offers a spectacular view of the lake, with great sunsets. We will be back.

My wife and I together with two other close friends stayed at the Q Estate for four days this week and our experience was above and beyond our expectations. The two warm hosts Suzette and Lexter made us feel so comfortable and welcome, we stayed in the beautiful newly renovated cottage with access to the salt water swimming pool which was awesome.Their hospitality was 1st class with genuine, warmth and helpful service. We will definitely rebook.

We had a great time at this property. The owners are very responsive and friendly. It was my dad, brother, 3 friends and myself. The guest house slept us all comfortably. It was very cozy and functional. I found the fridge to be a bit small for 6 people, but not a big deal at all. It's a nice, thick stone house that doesn't carry much noise outside. As other reviews have noted, there are some repairs that need to be done to this property. The dock closest to the house is closed/not functional, so you have to walk quite a distance to the other side of the property. Not a big deal — good for cardio. The dock itself is so peaceful. Immediate dropoff after the rocks, so you can jump/dive off it with no problem. The lake water is so clear. A nice fire pit is provided with chairs. Would fully recommend this property and would consider rebooking.

Like the title says, the owners are very nice and doing their best but that can't cover up all the issues. The owners live on site by the way, along with the three cottages that are for rent...one right beside you at the pool level and one behind you that walks by the pool area to access the lake. There is not really any outdoor privacy. The view from the pool area and deck is breathtaking. The steps down to the pool from the cottage are definitely not to code, but there is a railing to hang onto. The pool itself is not heated, probably fine most of the time but we had a cool week and it stayed right around 70 degrees. If you have an outdoor pool in Canada we suggest that they add a heater, even if they only heat it to 75 degrees. They also need a new BBQ, it lights a 12 inch long open flame that you cook behind to avoid having propane laced food...it is a little hard on the hands. The Wi-Fi was down the four nights we were visiting, no TV for the kids. (Not such a bad thing...) I set up a hotspot on my phone so we could use tablets and laptops but that was a bit of a pain and burned bandwidth. The owners did try a few different fixes but nothing worked and we grew tired of having them in our space. A few minor fixes and this place is easily a four star, longer term upgrades maybe more. The owners effort to improve makes it hard to leave a tough review but that is why these reviews are here, for honest feedback. One last suggestion is that they post all three properties as a group rental, if it was friends or family behind and beside you it would feel much less intrusive.
