I've been to Playa 7 times since 2001. This was the last place I stayed and would stay here again. It's got great decor, a communal pool, and it's just a 2 block walk to the best beach in town.

Loved this place. Steps from La Quinta but so quiet. Very comfortable, luxurious, secure, eclectic. Bric does a great job in managing. HIghly recommend, would stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Chan Bahlum condo in May 2014.
This condo has a perfect location - right by 5th Ave, close to many restaurants and shops and is a short walk (5-10 mins) to the beach. For near-by restaurants, our favorites were Fusion (on the beach) and La Mission (on 10th Avenue - $3-$5 cab ride but it is well worth it). Although 5th Avenue can get loud, the condo is far enough off the main street that we could enjoy peace and quiet at night.
This property is perfect for a couple – plenty of closet space, 2 showers (1 upstairs & 1 downstairs), very large and comfortable bed, washer and drier, well equipped kitchen, etc. The décor is beautiful and unique. All appliances worked properly and Royal Palms/BRIC staff was absolutely great – the condo was cleaned daily, the guards were at the gate 24/7, bottle water was refilled in timely manner, etc.
We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen.
