About this bed and breakfast
Come stay in our sweet guesthouse! The Silver Star cottage is in our backyard but very separate with its own city lane access. The gas fireplace and heated bathroom floor are luxurious winter amenities! It has a full kitchen and 1 (QUEEN) bedroom & bath. There is a couch in the airy living space that opens into a DOUBLE bed. (Please note the bathroom is en suite, so access is through bedroom) Also important for some folks: The Cottage does NOT have a TV. Lots of beautiful wood and a cozy vibe. We are 1 block from the fabulous Alberta Art Street but far enough away that it s quiet here. Perfect! Walk to shops, restaurants, parks, stores. Easy to get anywhere in our gorgeous city from here. We have AC window unit May-October.

Very close walk to the Alberta Rose theater and the many restaurants on the Main Street of Alberta.
The only problem we had was getting in initially. The owner gave us a code for VRBO rather than Expedia which we had booked through. Fortunately she was home and came right over.
It is a little difficult to find since the cottage is in the back of the address. From the photo, I remembered a large star on the front of the cottage and noticed a much smaller star on the fence at the alley entrance. So figured it was the right place. Maybe noting this will help future travelers. Also need to know not to park in the alley.

Loved our stay, the house was super nice and the location was fantastic! It was so nice to be able to walk to everything in the Alberta Arts District, and restaurants / food were amazing. I’d highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning!
