Beautiful gardens, lovely to hear the animals in the morning especially the cockerel! You definitely need a car if you want to go anywhere apart from the beach. This isn't a downside to the property at all, most other properties are the same. Views are stunning from the bedroom window and terrace over to Cargese. Well equipped and was clean on arrival. Key code entry to the grounds making you feel safe. Would definitely recommend.

The photographs and description here are accurate. The house is on a small farm and although the Plage de Peru is about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance, there are also several other good beaches a short drive away. Local scenery is spectacular and the interior of the island and coast is easily accessible by car. You can walk to Cargese, which has a good patisserie, and other shops provide everything you are likely to require. There are two Supermarkets within a few minutes drive. The owner, Mr Canon who lives in a house on the property is always friendly and approachable. We felt he made a real effort to make our holiday happy and enjoyable. There are a few good walks in the area (we recommend the walk to Capu Rossu a few miles up the coast) and the Mare a Monti walk begins/ends at Cargese.
