Built in the 16th Century, La Porte Rouge is in the heart of historic city centre, close to everything, and only a twenty-minute drive to the beach. The sweeping 105m2 layout features high ceilings, an open kitchen, comfy Queen-size bed, filtered water in entire apartment, reverse osmosis water in kitchen, updated bathrooms, ceiling fans and air conditioning. La Porte Rouge is perfect for couples and business travelers (no children or pets please).

We stayed La Porte Rouge for three nights in early December 2018. After three weeks of travel, it sure was nice to run into Mark as he was the ideal owner of this rental apartment. First, he greeted us at a nearby location and walked us to the La Porte Rouge. He gave us a brief tour of the old-town and had all kinds of wonderful tid-bits to share about Pézenas and France in general. Upon entering the apartment, we were blown away by the amenities and all the personal touches. The place just oozed charm. The accommodations were simply wonderful from the bathroom and kitchen, to the main room and bedroom. This was the perfect place to visit the lovely little town of Pézenas and to rest our weary heads. Thank you Mark, we hope to visit your place again the next time we’re in the area!
