About this apartment rental

We have just renovated and refurbished this sensational 3 bedroom ground floor apartment. Everything is brand new - there's a new kitchen and bathroom, all new furniture. Its located on a quiet Oxford cul-de-sac with parking for 1 car (1 more potentially). Unlimited fast Wifi. 5 minute walk to Summertown shops. Tennis courts & kids play area round the corner. 100 meters from bus stop with frequent busses to city centre in approximately 8 minutes, Blenheim Palace in approximately 20 minutes. What's great about it is that it's ideally located, close to the centre of Summertown, while being in a very quiet development - set back 60 meters from the main road (Woodstock Road). Inside, the apartment has just undergone a complete renovation. We've re-plastered, re-wired, re-decorated, and re-carpeted. We've also just fittied a new kitchen and bathroom and we've bought all new beds and linen, furniture, electronics, appliances - the full works! What you're booking is essentially a brand new (inside) apartment. The sitting/dining room is bright, with south facing french windows. The room has a dining table for 6 people, 2 sofas, a coffee table and a dresser unit with lots of storage space. If you feel like chilling out after a day of exploring the delights of Oxford, there is a new 40" TV with Netflix and Amazon Instant Video subscriptions. The kitchen is new and well equipped with all new appliances including dishwasher, washing/drying machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine and electric oven and induction hobs. There is also a good selection of plates, crockery, pots and pans, so you'll be able to cook just like you would at home. (If you'd rather not, don't worry - the area is served by a good range of delivery options for dinner!). The bedrooms all overlook a quiet garden. The master bedroom contains a double bed and fitted wardrobe. A second double room has twin single beds and a wardrobe. The third bedroom has a comfortable single bed, wardrobe and desk. There is a tasteful, modern brand new bathroom with all new fixtures and fittings. There is a wide bath with very powerful overhead shower. Outside, the apartment sits in a quiet, pleasant development just off Woodstock Road in Summertown. The development is surrounded by attractive, well maintained gardens. Adjacent to the development is an excellent children's play area, basketball and tennis courts. If you have any questions you like to ask, please feel free to message me.

Don't be put off by the lack of reviews. This apartment has great reviews elsewhere, and I have some amazing reviews for my other almost identical listing next door on this site - www.homeaway.co.uk/p8865474

This is a marvelous apartment. The location is wonderful -- just around the corner from South Parade street where there are a couple of great restaurants, and at the other end of South Parade are the shops on Banbury Road, including 3 excellent grocery stores. The bus into Oxford stops right at the corner of the street the apartment is on, so about a 1-minute walk from the door, and the bus back stops right across the Woodstock Road. This is just about the ideal location -- close enough to make getting into the city centre simple and quick, but just far enough out to be away from the tourist crowds. The apartment is comfortable, well-furnished, and spacious, with three bedrooms. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking or for reheating leftovers from the nearby restaurants, with crockery and cutlery for five and sufficient pots, pans, and utensils to facilitate cooking. The refrigerator is large, and the washer-dryer is a great plus since there's no launderette nearby. The best thing about the apartment, though, is Danny, the owner. He was exceptionally helpful from the time we made our reservation, answering various questions, and equally so throughout our stay. We had a couple of glitches and he responded immediately, even coming over one evening at 8:30. We travel a lot, and Danny was without question the most helpful host we have ever had. We hope to return to Oxford next year, and if we do we will certainly stay here again.

We liked the flat very much. Oxford has a lot to offer and there are supermarkets, cafes and various restaurants in the neighbourhood. Walks are easily possible. The bus to the city centre or Blenheim stops just a few metres away. Contact with the landlord was always prompt and friendly. We can recommend the flat.

We really loved the quiet location of this apartment. The bedrooms all backed to a garden area. The apartment was comfortable. It was literally only a hundred feet to the bus stop to Oxford center. There were several very nice restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, along with grocery stores, patisseries, etc. Tolkien's grave was a morning stroll away. All in all, we were very pleased!
