Welcome to the newly renovated Sandhill House! (2023) We are conveniently located near everything the Tampa Bay Area has to offer. This is the perfect spot if you are looking to visit other coastal cities as well- we are near Sarasota, Clearwater, St. Pete, and Orlando (see driving times!)
This luxury home has it all: Private heated pool, kid's loft, balcony, fenced-in yard, TVs in every bedroom, and plenty of parking!
Step into Sandhill House and prepare for the "wows" as you take in the large, sun-lit, open living spaces, new kitchen, and peaceful outdoor spaces.
This meticulously decorated 2,400 square foot home has plenty of room for your group to spread out (two living rooms!), a central HEPA filter A/C system, washer and dryer, and a bathtub for the little ones. We offer complimentary super-fast WIFI for all your devices, and there is a dedicated desk/work station for those who need to finish up with work before they jump in the pool! The kids will have their own private space upstairs in the loft where they'll have views of the entire neighborhood- including the local birds who can often be seen running around the yard!
Meals are a breeze with a fully equipped kitchen, bar seating for four plus kitchen built-in seating for six, and a formal dining room with available seating for eight! Create your favorite family meals while on vacation or try some take-out from one of our local favorite restaurants!
The King bedroom has an en suite bath and walk-in closet, while both Queen bedrooms include full closets. All 3 bedrooms include full-size smart TVs, ceiling fans, and blackout curtains to keep you comfortable! Up the spiral staircase you'll find a kid's loft with two twins beds and a pull-out couch.
After a long day in the Florida sunshine we offer complimentary books, games, and toys in the house for fun family nights.
For your furry family members we have a fenced-in yard and dog beds and bowls available so you can pack a bit lighter.

We stayed here for a local wedding of a friend. The house was great! Beds and pillows were comfy. Kitchen was adorable and easy. It was too cold outside to use the pool, but it was really pretty. Lots of parking in the long driveway made it easy to get in and out. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive. Highly recommend!!

The experience was great. Everything was beautifully maintained and clean. There were no kitchen towels, which would’ve been helpful because we were washing dishes at night and using paper towels. Also, I would recommend having the lights on for anyone who might be arriving after dark that would have been helpful. Otherwise it was very nice.

Overall, it was a nice house. There are three bedrooms in the house. The master bedroom has its own bathroom the other two bedrooms, share a bathroom in the hall.
The purported fourth bedroom is up a spiral staircase. It contains two very small twin beds and no bathroom. It is not really functional.
There were limited bath towels, and they did not smell clean. There was one or two rolls of toilet paper in the entire house. The toilet paper is sandpaper quality. There was only one or two rolls of paper towels.
The grass in the backyard looks like it had not been cut in months and there is a wasp issue going on in the backyard. If you are allergic to wasps, this is definitely not the house for you.
I felt with the amount of money that we spent renting this place for four days. It should’ve been a lot cleaner and maintained a little bit better with better quality products available for use. There was no coffee. There were no coffee filters. It was 80° when we got into the house and it took several hours for the house to cool down to 75.
The owner advertises that the pool is heated, but it Really is not. From what I gather they heat the pool to 86 in the morning and then turn it off. The pool was a little cold for us to swim in the end of April. The water felt a lot cooler than 86.
