About this house rental
Our Cape house, a cozy 4 season cottage on a quiet dead-end street, has a private wooded backyard overlooking an old cranberry bog. It's got a new outdoor shower and both gas and charcoal grills.
NOTE: MAJOR RENOVATIONS
• a new kitchen
• a second (half) bath
• central air conditioning
• an in-unit washer/drier
• hardwood floors
• all new windows
• new shingles,
• new roof
Our summer home is in a great location, just a 12 minute walk to Craigville beach -- the best family beach on the Cape according the experts, our kids. And the rental includes a Barnstable "landlord parking pass" which allows you to park at any beach in Barnstable. It's also a short walk to the iconic 4-Seas Ice Cream , the Old Time Candy Store, an awesome playground, and the wonderful new kids room at the Centerville library. Hyannis, with dozens of restaurants, nightlife, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, is just a ten minute drive away.
Available at the house are kids toys, games, kids DVDs & VCR tapes, tricycle, cozy coupe car, wagon, beach cart, cooler, sand toys, beach chairs, and a second (larger) washer & dryer in the cellar.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. Nice beach with calmer water a short distance away was a plus.

This house is in a great location on quiet lane, a short hike to the beach. The beds were comfortable, the ac worked great, and the backyard overlooking the forest was peaceful. We would stay here again.

Wrong instructions to locate lockbox and it was broken. Carpets dirty and stained. Mason jars for glasses. 3 mismaitched wine glasses. Threadbare linens. Paint peeling and broken closet door in primary bed
room. No cable tv. Cardboard dresser in primary we bedroom. Outdoor shower was dirty and filled with leaves. Dirty grill.
