Safe double gated properity with amazing views

Trudy and Bob were wonderful hosts and their accommodations were resplendent: beautifully and playfully decorated, lush landscaping, awesome views overlooking the beach below. The guest house was like an artist’s small castle; the kitchen was well appointed. We were given a tour of the open-air market on Tuesday. We saw (and heard!) howler monkeys and coati and iguanas and vultures and hummingbirds, all inside the compound’s grounds, lots of exotic flora and fauna. There were several beaches nearby, each with its own different personality, sand and tide pools etc. Really a memorable trip!

We could not have asked for better accommodations or hosts! The house is incredible! Everything you could want and/or need. And there is a pickleball court on the property! The view is breathtaking!! We saw monkeys everyday! We woke to the Howler Monkeys the first morning after our arrival and it was a terrifying sound, until I found out what it was.Robert and Trudy were the best! We now have great friends in Costa Rica! They alerted us when the monkeys came through daily and showed us the spectacular views from the roof of their incredible home at sunset. They are definitely living a beautiful life and so sweet to share it with others.Nearby Garza is great. As is Garza Beach. Not touristy. More local feeling. A really beautiful beach with access to boats. If you want more tourist/upscale beaches, head south to Samara. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and meeting their new puppy!!!

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The view from the hilltop is beautiful with surrounding open jungle and a view of the ocean.

My wife and I just spent 10 days. Wonderful experience. Surrounded by jungle, lots of wildlife, beautiful ocean vistas, cool breezes. Best of all Trudy and Bob are amazing, gracious hosts. Got to play pickle ball with Bob and swap recipes with Trudy. We will go back just as much to visit with our new friends as to stay at their retreat.
