Villa Elia, built in 2012 and decorated with natural stone, is waiting to offer you unforgettable holiday moments and comfortable accommodation for 5 people. The independent and secluded villa not overlooked by neighbours enjoys privacy in its 1000 sq. m not on the main road, but just a few minutes walk from the center of Pitsidia village. Villa Elia is ideal for guests who appreciate the most perfect simplicity in a truly Cretan environment and for those seeking tranquility, seclusion, privacy, peace & total relaxation. Suitable for couples and families.
The Villa (80 sq. m.), designed in the ground floor for your better comfort, features two double bedrooms with Emperor size beds, a comfortable living room, a fully equipped open plan kitchen with dining table and a spacious bathroom, as well as a storeroom. The exterior of the villa includes a 35 sq. m. private swimming pool with children’s pool as well as a well maintained garden with barbeque facilities and outside douche.
Villa Elia has all the amenities you could wish for a perfect Villa holiday. All the rooms are air-conditioned and have fly nets. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and dining table set. In the living room there is satellite TV, CD player and Radio, a wood-burning stove and a sofa bed. The two bedrooms are equipped with Emperor size beds (200x210 cm) and their large wardrobes offer you enough space for your clothing. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, double sinks and a washing machine. The storage room contains all cleaning utensils, ironing board and iron. The Villa is also equipped with Wi-Fi Internet, Safe and Hair-dryer. Sheets and towels are also provided as well as upon request a cot and a high chair . Private parking is available in the front yard.
The private terrace in the front garden overlooking the numerous olive trees as well as the village of Pitsidia is equipped with barbeque facilities and a dining table with chairs. The pool terrace overlooking the Ida moutain is equipped with two outside douches as well as sun loungers and is covered with a wooden pergola, providing that much needed shade. The garden area contains two more than 200 years old olive trees, fruit trees and other Mediterranean flowers.
Car hire is suggested. The nearest restaurants and minimarkets are a 2 minute drive, a 10-15 minute walk.

Maria and Xenophon are wonderful, caring hosts and we recommend this villa highly. Pros: lots of trees and bushes all over the property, which is unusual for the area - makes it feel cooler and more private. Deluxe bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen. Two good-size bedrooms with king beds. Pool is sparkling clean. Short walk into village. Excellent location for exploring the area. Cons: No view, some car noise from nearby road, pool is older. If those are dealbreakers, they have a more deluxe villa, Villa Petra. Excellent hosts.

The villa was spotlessly clean, there were all the essentials we needed for a week and some extras that we hadn't thought of like a cool bag and ice blocks for the beach. The swimming pool is great, the showers are very clean and luxurious, both bedrooms have superking size beds. It is a ten min walk to the nearest village and a 3 mile drive to Matala beach which is an amazing place. Maria and Xenophon are brilliant hosts and left us some lovely breakfast items and a superb leaving gift.

We chose this villa because we were attracted to the lovely looking garden, and we weren't disappointed - the sweet smelling jasmine, fruit bushes, an array of lovey colours, and of course the gnarled old olive trees which remind us that our time here is short in comparison.
The villa is spacious and comfortable, and provides all the amenities that we needed.. The welcome basket was a delightful addition - so lovely to eat produce grown by the hosts. We had the fresh fruit with local honey and yogurt, and made salads to take to the beach, with the tomatoes and cucumbers and the delicious olive oil.
Good hot showers, luxurious towels, quiet location, all added to the enjoyment of the villa.
The village is charming and full of character with an excellent selection of restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the vegan Green Kukunari.
