Your Lakeside Montana basecamp is set up and ready for you and your fellow adventurers, so get ready to launch!
Large southern-exposure windows to let in light, hardwood floors, a super-comfy King bed in the main bedroom and a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, laundry room and woodstove come included in this 2-level, 1500 Sq.ft home. Outside, 2 large decks to relax on, barbeque & enjoy our beautiful Montana summers. Lots of board games & books, as well as 2 kayaks for lake fun! The property features a huge deck on which to kick back and enjoy bbqing and views of the lake, situated on over an acre of ground including some woods. Inside, guests will enjoy a bright living room and dining area with large windows to bring the outside in. Because we are located fairly close to the road, there may be road noise present outside, but you should not hear it inside. Star link WiFi, washer & dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen are included for your extended stays. The 2 fully equipped bathrooms are complete with towels and other essentials. There is a set of stairs from the driveway level to the entry door level and another set of stairs leading from entry door level to the deck. Also, inside there are stairs between the two levels. Enjoy all that Lakeside has to offer when you stay at our place! There is a manager‘s apartment downstairs in the lower level, and if they are there, they may be able to help you with any questions during your stay!

We had a wonderful time at Steve’s base camp. Great location just south of Kalispell in the area of Lakeside. Close to town but not too close. Close to the best marina, local restaurants and grocery so you never had to go back to Kalispell if you wanted to keep the small town feel. Clean and very well stocked. Steve gave the best recommendations, was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Kitchen and living room area were clean and bright. Bathrooms were clean. The commute to Lakeside was very short. The house number is not visible from the road so we were not sure we had the right house until we approached a rear door. No information was left about how to contact anyone in case there was a problem at the house. No instructions about how to operate the TV system. We were not sure about how to leave the house in regard to trash, sheets and towels. The bedroom windows had issues such as missing screens, cranks and were moldy. There needs to be a railing on the outside steps for older people such as ourselves. The vines growing on the deck railing had insects flying around so we did not feel comfortable sitting there. The traffic noise was an issue in the early morning.
