A ten minute drive will take you to Downtown Blowing Rock where you will find local dining and shopping, in addition to the community park. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, less than ten minutes from the cottage, for a mountain hike, a scenic drive, or a picnic at an overlook. Price Park is located off the parkway and provides camping, boating and fishing on Price Lake, and hiking and walking trails. Adventure awaits at Tweetsie Railroad, High Gravity Adventures Zip Line, or Appalachian Ski Mountain.

Step outside to the partially covered back deck to grill supper, or read a book while enjoying the mountain air. Downstairs, an additional living room has a smart TV and air hockey and ping pong tables, perfect for family game nights. The king size sleeper sofa provides an additional sleeping space. There is a full bathroom for convenience. Outside, gather around the wood-burning fire pit to share camp fire stories and roast marshmallows for s'mores, or enjoy lunch at the picnic table.
Ridgeline Views has three bedrooms, all located on the top floor. The master bedroom has a king bed, TV, gas fireplace, and private ensuite. The ensuite has double vanities, soaking tub, and step-in shower. The full bedroom has a TV and shares access to the balcony with the master bedroom. Beautiful mountain views can be enjoyed with your morning coffee while relaxing on the balcony. The third bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Both of these bedrooms share a jack-n-jill bathroom. The sitting room off the master bedroom has a queen size futon for an additional sleeping space.

Additional amenities include WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, and a laundry room. Up to 2 dogs are welcome on your vacation with an additional pet fee. We joined our future Mountaineer son for open house and were fortunate to find this listing. The house is peaceful and beautiful. The location is unmatched. The responsiveness and courtesy of the listing agent was perfect.

Home has so much potential. Was a bit musty - understood if people are not there very often. Yard and fireplaces were big draw for us. Unfortunately both were pretty unusable. Yard was very overgrown so hard to get to. Fireplaces inside were just not usable. The space was good and we had a good time as a family. I would suggest having more blankets available. Explain about fireplaces- either how to make usable- or explain that they are not usable. Again- great house and location- just maybe put in some TLC.
