Each cottage features a cozy living space with cable TV/Roku and a sofa. Prepare meals in either cottage's well-equipped full kitchen. Rest well in the charming bedrooms appointed with comfort in mind. Each cottage also features a grill, and they share a furnished deck so cooking and dining alfresco is a breeze.

Our family enjoyed a visit to this lovely area in August. The property has a fabulous lakefront location with a new dock that extends into the water with an area where you can set up chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful view and catch some rays and their are stairs down to the water. The shore has plenty of space and has Adirondack chairs set up around a fire pit. There is a storage facility at the shore level that is filled with items that guests can use - 2 kayaks, life vests in every size, beach toys, noodles, etc. Out in the water there is a trampoline and an anchored swim platform a bit further out but still in fairly shallow water. The water in Glen Lake is fantastic for swimming and boating! The cottages are located in a wooded area that is a short walk to Old Settler's Picnic grounds where there is playground equipment, picnic tables and lake access. The cottages are a short drive to all of the fantastic area amenities: Hiking trails, restaurants, National Lakeshore, etc. The cottages are rustic but the bathrooms are updated and there is a small dishwasher in one of the cottages. The bedding was also nice. There is no A/C but there are ceiling fans as well as other fans that were provided by the property. The property management company was quite responsive. The door locks were a bit confusing - the digital screen doesn't immediately light up. That was the only issue we had!
