Great location by Galloping Ghost arcade. The house was fantastic and comfortable. Towels and everything were provided which was nice. Highly recommended and hope to stay again!

We stayed at this property for a week while visiting family and attending a funeral. Overall, the home was in a great location—close to Galloping Ghost Arcade, downtown LaGrange, downtown Brookfield, and the Brookfield Zoo. The house was clean, well-constructed, and equipped with nice appliances. However, our experience didn’t fully align with the VRBO listing due to some inaccuracies. The property was listed as having three bedrooms and two baths, but it turned out that the main level only had two bedrooms and one bathroom. The third “primary” bedroom, as listed, was actually in the basement, which was less than ideal. The basement ceiling height was very low—less than 6.5 feet throughout—and the bathroom sink area was only 6 feet high. My husband, who is 6’1”, had to duck while going down the stairs and navigate the basement carefully to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling soffits and doorways. The king bed in the basement was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and there were no nightstands, which made it inconvenient. Additionally, the basement living area was not very usable. The couch was uncomfortable and separated into two pieces, making it difficult to relax. While the kitchen was well-stocked with basic supplies, we found that most items, like knives and cooking utensils, were of low quality. We even ended up buying better toilet paper for our stay. Group of us stayed here for a long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the property. It’s well kept and is very convenient being close to multiple Metra stations. Would recommend this to others!

We were very pleased with how clean and modern the home was. Even had a Christmas tree and a few other small touches that made the house homey for the holidays. A lot of little details really made our stay pleasant. The towels were fresh and new, board games were available and the kitchen was in wonderful shape which made us very confident to cook. The space was perfect to gather many ppl, as well as a separate living room for when we wanted some space. There was a separate little kitchen bar downstairs. And wine glasses hung under the dinning table. We didn’t use either but was a nice offer. They kept us stocked in the showers and kitchen including ice. The listing mentioned a hot tub and play land, we didn’t find either. Parking was very easy and the neighborhood felt safe. Thanks for a great stay, we’d definitely come back!
