Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. We are located 10 miles from Downtown Chicago. Plenty of sightseeing and activities. We are less than a 5-minute walking distance from one of the well-known old-school arcades in the Chicagoland area and the largest in America. Downtown La grange is within walking distance with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The historical Brookfield Zoo is a 10-minute drive.

Group of us stayed here for a long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the property. It’s well kept and is very convenient being close to multiple Metra stations. Would recommend this to others!

We stayed at this property for a week while visiting family and attending a funeral. Overall, the home was in a great location—close to Galloping Ghost Arcade, downtown LaGrange, downtown Brookfield, and the Brookfield Zoo. The house was clean, well-constructed, and equipped with nice appliances. However, our experience didn’t fully align with the VRBO listing due to some inaccuracies.
The property was listed as having three bedrooms and two baths, but it turned out that the main level only had two bedrooms and one bathroom. The third “primary” bedroom, as listed, was actually in the basement, which was less than ideal. The basement ceiling height was very low—less than 6.5 feet throughout—and the bathroom sink area was only 6 feet high. My husband, who is 6’1”, had to duck while going down the stairs and navigate the basement carefully to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling soffits and doorways. The king bed in the basement was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and there were no nightstands, which made it inconvenient.
Additionally, the basement living area was not very usable. The couch was uncomfortable and separated into two pieces, making it difficult to relax. While the kitchen was well-stocked with basic supplies, we found that most items, like knives and cooking utensils, were of low quality. We even ended up buying better toilet paper for our stay.
