In the centre of Albufeira, in a busy, sunny position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, in the heart of the city, 49 m from the sea. In the house: lift, washing machine. Public car park at 50 m. Grocery, supermarket 10 m, shopping centre 2.6 km, restaurant 120 m, bar 250 m, café 50 m, internet café 80 m, pedestrian zone 50 m, pub garden 120 m, bus stop 2.6 km, sandy beach "Praia do Peneco" 49 m, diving center 300 m. 10/10 for location & view, and cleanliness of the apartment. You get to fall asleep to the sounds of the Atlantic ocean waves lapping on the beach!Kitchen was well equipped for a vacation rental, and includes basic cleaning supplies. There is a dishwasher, but you have to provide your own detergent if you want to use it. There is also a washing machine for clothes, although it either wasn’t working (or I couldn’t operate it correctly) - no matter what cycle option I chose, it gave me an error light indicating there was no water.Note that the bed is a murphy (wall) bed; it was not the worst mattress I have ever slept on, but not as comfortable as a hotel bed.Also note that the apartment is right at the top of the stairwell and you can hear noise from people going up & down the stairs - something to consider if you are sensitive to noise.The information booklet in the unit says that you need to take all the garbage out when you check-out, but doesn’t provide information on where to put it. It would greatly help if they provided guidelines on how recycling needs to separated, and a map to show where the garbage needs to be disposed (across the street and 50 meters up the road).

Location excellent and spotless. Property is a residential block with limited access as only one key so needed to arrange time to meet back for access. Shower was cold on 2 mornings and no information pack on for example to put rubbish bin

Beautiful apartment - we have been staying here for years and it is always clean and very modern. Staff are excellent and felt very safe in apartment. Highly recommended
