About this cottage rental
15 km from Tours, a very spacious, detached gîte in a fully restored 18th-century farmhouse (2 km from the village and the Cher Valley). Ground floor: magnificent 80 m² living/dining room, kitchen, bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 (each with a double bed), shower room, WC. Wi-Fi. Upstairs: bedroom 4 (double bed), bedroom 5 (three single beds), shower room/WC. Electric heating (extra charge). 1500 m² orchard garden (parking for 4 cars). Second 900 m² enclosed lawn garden with a pergola terrace (swing set, outdoor games on request, 5 sun loungers). The gîte is furnished with beautiful antique furniture. Cot and high chair available. Telephone. Firewood (€60/stere). Mandatory cleaning fee: €160/stay. Located between Tours and Chenonceau, and also close to Amboise and its Royal Château, this gîte offers quick access to the major tourist attractions of the Loire Valley and Touraine, making it an ideal place for a holiday or weekend getaway in Touraine. Loire châteaux, vineyards, hot air balloon rides, and cycling along the Loire à Vélo route are just some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay... unless relaxation and rest are your main objectives for visiting Touraine. In that case, you'll be completely at one with the gîte's surroundings, and we wish you a very pleasant and relaxing stay!
