Our property is easily accessible from a paved road, with a well-maintained gravel driveway and parking areas. Guests have full access to the entire home, stream, and pond on this 5-acre property.
The home is available to use, as well as the 5 acres of property. Which include a gentle pasture, with a pond & creek running through that is overlooked by our gazebo.
***IMPORTANT***
This is a rural mountain cabin. There is abundant wildlife that may make an appearance during your stay. These animals and insects include bears, snakes,spiders,deer,turkey,birds,various flying insects,raccooons,and many others. This is completely normal for this region, and it is very likely you will spot one or more of the above while you enjoy your stay. Please do not attempt to engage with wildlife, feed, or harass in any way. Keep food out of vehicles, and lock all vehicle doors.
-Booking Guest must be at least 25 years old & present at the property with their group (No 3rd party booking).
-This home features a full home automatic backup generator for the rare occasion that a power outage occurs.
-No smoking indoors. Cigarette butts left on grounds will result in an extra cleaning charge.
-Parties and events are not allowed.
-Pets & ESA are not allowed.
-A signed rental agreement & $500.00 security hold are required for all bookings. Shortly after booking, you will receive an email with the E-sign document & link to process the $500.00 security hold on your card (Hold is not placed until 48 hours before check-in.)

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property! Plenty of room for three couples and a child with an extra bedroom to spare. The cabin came highly equipped and had a beautiful view. Close to some local scenic waterfalls though also enjoyed a day in relaxing in the cabin. Would return!

What an incredible home! We just finished a week stay and the home is absolutely amazing. It’s new and built with exceptional features and quality sure to please. The views out of the home and off the deck are stunning and exactly what a mountain stay should provide. Sitting outside in the evenings around the gas fire pit provided the best environment for friends to relax and enjoy each other. There is high speed internet which is a plus when in the mountains and the location is perfect and just a few minutes from town/grocery stores/dining. The host/owner Alec is a fantastic host who left no detail unturned when building this home and for providing for his guests. Everything was super clean and fully equipped. You can’t go wrong with this amazing home. We have been visiting the area for decades and continually look for great properties and we found one we will be booking again for sure! Thanks Alec for providing such an awesome home and experience for us!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home! Everything was spotless and felt nearly brand new. The beds were very comfortable, and each bedroom was generously sized — perfect for a relaxing retreat. The kitchen was well appointed with just about everything you might need during your stay, which made meals easy and convenient.
The view from the porch was lovely, and although the home is close to the highway (great for access), we didn’t notice much road noise. We especially appreciated the firewood being provided, and the covered pavilion near the firepit was a nice bonus — it allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even during a few afternoon rain showers.
The host was also very responsive and helpful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
All in all, this was a fantastic home base for exploring everything Cashiers and Highlands have to offer. Highly recommend!
