Welcome to The Trainstation! This idyllic, log cabin is the ultimate mountain retreat. Located just minutes away from charming downtown Saluda and close to all that an outdoor enthusiast could ask for, including hiking, rafting and even ziplining! Or spend the day in Asheville exploring Biltmore Estate, art galleries, and first-class restaurants.
Located on 1.5 acres with a waterfall on one side and a stream below, The TrainStation is a peaceful and private home for those wanting to rest and recharge. Take the stairs that lead directly to the creek and wade in the refreshing water or grab your fishing pole! After a day of exploring enjoy a glass of wine on the wrap-around deck overlooking the waterfall or in the hot tub and let your stress melt away.
Enjoy cooking with friends and family in the fully stocked kitchen. After dinner relax around the stone fireplace in the cozy living room with knotty pine, vaulted ceilings. The three large guest rooms give everyone plenty of privacy. The primary bedroom features a large walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. Whether you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax or get out and have adventures, The TrainStation is the best place to create lifelong memories!

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.
Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.
Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.
Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

The waterfalls and the views are spectacular.Sitting out in all of the abundant screened in areas and listening to the water was the relaxation getaway we needed. The blankets were soft and everything we needed was there. Will definitely be bringing my husband and family back another time. The hot tub was extremely clean and made us feel comfortable about the whole stay. Only confusing part was the lights. Couldn’t figure out lights outside on screen porch and the remotes we found didn’t work but it wasn’t necessary for our stay. The little screened in hut by the water is an amazing touch.

Perfect house for our girls' weekend. Well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub, bathrooms, and overall place were clean. The only complaint was that the towels were rough and did not smell very good. Overall, it's a nice place to stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

This is a special place. Wish we could keep it a secret but that would not be right. Felt our souls were replenished after being here. The house is nestled in a quiet nook of the forest, surrounded by the sound of running streams. It’s absolutely perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Lovely house, with wraparound porch and lovely views, sounds of the river / waterfalls nearby! Very well stocked home; we cooked several nights and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was great and had a basket of hot tub towels, which was a nice touch. There are multiple sitting areas and tables / chairs on the porches and in the living areas, which made it both cozy and spacious-feeling for our family of 6!
