Later gather your group at the Bavarian-style dinner table (seating 8 people) that resembles the ones in the Oktoberfest tents in Munich! If you prefer to get takeout, try out Spice 55 for some fantastic Thai food just 3 minutes away!

An extra room is located upstairs to whisk you away to Oktoberfest right in the comfort of your own home! With Oktoberfest ribbons, a pub table, and arcade games, there is plenty of entertainment for adults and kids alike.

Just a short drive or leisurely stroll will take you downtown (1.5 miles) where you can enjoy a German beer, float the river, or try rolled ice cream (say hi to Charlie, the owner!)
IF you plan on visiting in the fall, you must come for Oktoberfest! Or come for the Christmas Market or for the New Year's Eve Edelweiss Drop, where the town lights up.
If you have plans to visit Helen in the summer, hike the Blue Ridge Mountains and then float down the Chattahoochee River. Springtime bring blooming Dogwood and the Bavarian Fest and Hot Air Balloon Festival in May.

We truly had a perfect stay!

This is such a wonderful home! It's absolutely adorable, exactly like the photos! It's also very comfortable, from the furniture in the living room, to the outdoor sofas, to the beds and the glorious kitchen. We were super impressed with the spices and oil that was provided in the kitchen, as well as the very generous soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and laundry products. We found it to be incredibly clean and well fitted, especially for a pet-friendly property. My husband and our friends had such a great time sitting on the back porch watching the fire and listening to the wind in the trees - so relaxing. It is walkable to downtown Helen, but you need to be in decent shape for the mile walk up and down the incline. We found driving was easier and took just a few minutes. I'd suggest bringing a gate for the back porch steps if you bring a dog (or kid) that likes to roam on their own. Overall a wonderful place that we will definitely return to!

Our group of 5 women had an amazing stay! We loved the space and adorable decor, the cleanliness and the most amazing porch! The hot tub was perfect and a great place to watch college football:) We felt safe during our stay and walked back and forth from town several times. The hill is a bit of a hike, but we survived!
