Stay was good overall! We did have to pay for AC which was unexpected considering we were staying in Hawaii. The hot tub was nice but I would not depend on using the workout center, it was very small. We enjoyed having a kitchen and all of the amenities offered inside the room though! Overall would recommend.

Our travel to the Big Island was to support our grandson that was playing football at Honoka'a HS. Our stay at the Paniolo Greens was the perfect place. Not to far from Kona and not that far from Honoka'a. Accommodations were perfect for our traveling gourp. The surrounding area (5-10 minute driving time) provided places to eat for those staying on a budget. The pool and hot tub were great. Just have to remember that the hot tub heater starts working at 3:00pm. Thank You for providing a great facility.

Was disappointed with the condition of the property - much older furniture, not well cleaned carpets and cockroaches. We moved because of cockroaches to another unit (not fun moving all your stuff when arriving later in the evening), then the next unit had cockroaches too (Saw them within 1 minute of walking in the door. If you can see them, there are hundred more hiding - that's how they are. Not impressed. Staff response was "that's just Hawaii. There's always bugs". Not a great response - I'm confident other hotels don't tell their guests having cockroaches in their rooms is part of their "Hawaii experience".
