About this cottage rental
Exceptional villa, located on the side of a hill between Canyamel and the Costa de los Pinos, with beautiful and impressive views of the nearby coast and mountains, enjoying beautiful sunsets. A quiet place, without neighbors, on the edge of a pine forest.
It is an exceptional house for its large space and its great terraces, which makes it special for families or groups of friends who wish to meet to spend their holidays.
It has a large living room with fireplace, air conditioning in each of the rooms and in the large living room, optional central heating, a large independent kitchen.
In total there are 6 bedrooms, two bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with three single beds, two bedrooms with two single beds and one with a single single bed, four bathrooms (three en suite). Around the house there are spacious terraces, to spend pleasant evenings there is a porch with sofas, and an outdoor dining room with a large table next to the barbecue to enjoy delicious meals.
A pool of 48 square meters, with a spacious terrace for sunbathing will delight young and old.
Our vacation home services include changing sheets and towels for stays longer than 7 days, cleaning the pool every 2 days and final cleaning of the house.

Rural house in full nature, you must have your own vehicle with which to access the farm. It has large areas for parking in front of the house.
We have 24 h telephone availability, welcome detail, we wait for our clients upon arrival, all the space around the house is for private use of it.
If they are groups, they must be over 25 years old.
According to the regulations of the Balearic government, an eco-fee must be paid on arrival at the house of € 2 per person per day for those over 16 years.
Groups of under 25s are not allowed.Parties are not allowed either.

It is a wonderful and tranquil property.
The beaches and some towns are close by.
It was comfortably big enough for 3 families.
We loved the big outside table.
Looking forward to oming back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was ideal for all 14 of us. Being so remote it is very private and quiet. Our grand children loved the freedom and the pool. Being disabled it would have helped to have a bannister to the front steps and hand holds near the showers. We did have problems with some taxis not being able to find the property. And on one occasion a driver turfed us out of the cab with half a mile to go?
Anyway those were the only negative issues. We did have a very good family holiday.

The house was nice with a good design (T shape with rooms down the center and the living area at the top - great for putting kids to bed early). Also a great outdoor space, we ate and cooked all of our meals out here. It is somewhat remote (drive down a bumpy gravel role) but had a nice view of the valley and ocean in the distance. Some vegetation could have been removed for a better view. There were some maintenance issues - we killed over 1,000 wasps while there for 7 days - they were mainly around the pool so made it quite difficult to use to pool. We asked for fumigation and they came once we let them know about the 5 wasp nests on the house. There are clearly many more nests in the grounds, but we didn't go searching for them. It improved after chemicals in the pool (which killed a lot of wasps) and the fumigation, but we still had some wasps around the pool and made it challenging for the kids to swim in the hottest part of the day (that is when they were the worst). The house was also not aired out before we arrived - there was a musty / mildew smell and there was mold in the bathrooms on the grout / caulking. Faucets also didn't work well in the showers with half of the water not diverting up to the shower. Lastly, the ping pong table is warped so was difficult to play on as the ball bounded in really weird directions.
Overall a lovely stay, nice area and we would come back if the maintenance issues are resolved.
