A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. The apartment is a short drive to the major beaches, restaurants, and some nice hikes. The apartment was generally clean. The pool was on the cold side this time of year but nice for a quick dip after a day in the sun. Julie provided some great recommendations for our stay and was very responsive.

Thank you Julie and Romaric for a fantastic stay. Very private location with a stunning view over the Cousteau Reserve and the Pigeon Islands. The home was immaculate with outstanding woodworking throughout built buy Romaric. The location offers easy access to shopping and restaurants by foot or by car. (The hike back up the hill may require a few rest stops). The end of the road up the mountain is the trailhead for a hike up to Boulliante Peak. Awesome forest scenery. Dear Julie and dear Romaric,
our stay in the house has made our holiday a dreamlike and unforgettable exprience. We felt as if we were in paradise with a great view of the Atlantik Ocean and the wonderful sunsets from the spacious terrace with the cosy lounge. The furnishing of the house is unique with its wooden furniture and open bathrooms. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the house situated at the edge of the forest in the middle of nature and enjoyed the daily visits of the hummingbirds at the drinking trough you hang up.
We didn´t want for anything. Thank you so much for everything.
