The rooms were clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Temperature with heat on was very comfortable. The host answered us back right away with the answer to our question!

This was a wonderful property to stay at for our weekend getaway. Rooms were comfortable and the check in was very easy. Wally’s communication was great as well!

On the positive side, the place was clean. The living room and dining room were cozy and nice. Location was good for us, because our boat was docked right down the road. We thought the kitchen could use more cupboards and counterspace. Ther was no toaster, and the fridge froze some of our food (Freezer also had ice build- up at the bottom). For people our age (70), the bathroom was not easy to maneuver in (quite small), and it would be nice to just have a shower, not a tub you have to step into. Both bedrooms were upstairs, so you have to go down the stairs to use the bathroom. Stairs are quite narrow and noisy. Bedrooms were fine, with overhead fans and little road noise even though the house is right by a busy road. It would be nice if both bedrooms had empty dressers to use. We would have liked to be able to use the screened windows on the front porch, but windows were sealed shut. For younger people, this place would be fine, I think. But it could be a little more user-friendly with the kitchen and bathroom. We managed to enjoy ourselves despite these things, but I would caution older people to beware of the layout.
