About this country house rental
Ideal for families, this is a single storey house in traditional architecture.
Villa with two bedrooms, a bathroom with Jacuzzi, a living room with fireplace, kitchen area and dining area. Outside the house you can enjoy the porch with barbacue and the beauty of the Alentejo landscape.
Here, the mount of oaks you can enjoy a swimming pool equipped, the garden and the great days of sun. You can also enjoy the garden and the orchard, the living areas outside the home and every corner of this small farm.
The small town of Arraiolos is located in the district of Evora just 19 km away from the city of Évora, World Heritage of Unesco.
In Évora you can find a lot of monuments dating from various historical periods, including a Roman temple, because of its historic center preserved. Évora is still partially surrounded by medieval walls.
The town of Arraiolos is famous for its embroidery wool rugs (typical of the region) with centuries of history and that are made since the Middle Ages.
Arraiolos has many places of interest including the castle of Arraiolos, one of the few circular castles in the world.
It is an easy house with parking, animals (fish, turtles, etc.) in a small farm. Can accommodate 4/5 people
Guests have access to all the house and garden facilities.
We usually live in another farmhouse.
Smoking is allowed and pets are allowed in the farmhouse offers kennel and cattery.
Lisbon to Arraiolos is about an hour and fifteen minutes by motorway.

We loved our stay with Carlos and Helena. They were so welcoming, and even though we arrived very late in the evening, they took the time to show us everything about the property. They even had some food waiting for us since the grocery store was already closed! And the property is amazing - gardens, fruit trees, fish, turtles and even a castle view! My 2.5 year old was in heaven and was so excited to pick fresh strawberries and lemons. With a rental car, we were able to get easily around the surrounding area. We would love to stay here again.

Carlos and Helena were excellent hosts who made sure everything was perfect with the accommodation but gave you your own privacy completely. The villa is only a couple of years old and offers excellent accomodation. The views from the terrace are stunning - views of the hills and the town of white houses with their red roofs and then up to the castle on the hill all lit up of which my photos could not do it justice. Arraiolos is quiet with a few restaurants about 1 kilometre from the house but we often liked to stay in - the BBQ is fantastic with lots of wood supplied and Carlos told us we could help ourselves to fruit and vegetables from the garden whilst Helena bought us some warm cakes she'd made! I only used the swimming pool once as was a little cold and I had a cold! The area around the swimming pool needed weeding/clearing/freshening up which is the only thing that brings it down from 5 stars for the cost.

Lovely House with a great view. Easy Walk to the town and restaurants. But we loved to stay at the House and cook and barbecue. So friendly that we could take fruit and vegi from the garden. A really Nice place to relax and enjoy your holiday. And the Owner will do what they can, so you have a Nice time. Our Best recommentions.
