Timbalah is an exquisite country house that can accommodate up to 14 guests. For groups up to 10 people the main house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and for groups over 10, up to 14 people the cottage is available with its own kitchen and bathroom, and sleeps up to an additional 4 guests.
Located in the heart of stunning Fitzroy Falls it is ideally positioned to access all that the Southern Highlands has to offer.
Timbalah is beautifully furnished throughout ensuring the utmost comfort throughout your stay and provides a stunning country retreat, or perfect wedding guest accommodation. The kitchen is a foodies delight to prepare a gourmet meal. You may however wish to forgo cooking and use Timbalah as a base to sample the best restaurants, vineyards and cafes the Southern Highlands has to offer.
Only 1.5 hours to Sydney and Canberra, Timbalah is the perfect country escape.

The spa was lovely and the fireplace was really nice to sit around. Tim, the host was lovely, friendly and helpful. The house was almost perfect for the 14 of us, except for the fact that we had no idea that the master bedroom was a loft, so getting to sleep when others were still up was near impossible. The house offered a great dining area and kitchen which made our shared dinners a wonderful experience. Overall, a lovely week.

We had a lovely time, with the property large enough for our extended family. If I was to be critical for purposes of continuous improvement, the property walls and carpets could do with a freshen up and some of the bedrooms smell musty. Dishwasher did not work at first requiring cleanout of food scraps from the basket. The oven is a bit of a mystery with the light remaining on despite being switched off and with no retained temperature. We were happy to collect firewood however had it been wet and cold, dry firewood would have been convenient.

It was a great family time away - huge house, all amenities as stated. Great to be able to walk to the Falls and lookouts.

Good space and great location- however not the ‘luxury’ as described in listing. House wasn’t very clean on arrival, bbq and spa were dirty and couldn’t use them, and the floors in house weren’t clean (we vacuumed on arrival). Dishwasher needs to be replaced. Aircon is only in the lounge room, upstairs bedroom couldn’t be cooled down on the hot nights as the ceiling fans don’t work. Carpet also needs replacing (its stained and dirty) and the fly screens fall out of windows. Fridges were pretty dirty. Basically has great potential but needs some serious work if you are going to describe this as a ‘luxury’ property !
