About this cottage rental
Cozy cottage just completely renovated, with sandy beach access and fourwheeling trails, available for rent. House right next door also for rent if you need more space (55 Ossippee Street, Sebago). You will love the serenity of the area and the steps to the beach. It's the perfect location to take a break and relax but within 30 minutes of the City of Portland, a little less than an hour from Old Orchard Beach with shopping, restaurants, amusement and water parks and the beach! Also shopping at LL Bean and FreePort Outlets are only an hour away.
We provide a BBQ grill, your own private patio, a refrigerator, microwave stove and all kitchen supplies, 2 full size beds, 1 twin size bed, and a sleeper pull out couch along with quilts, blankets and pillows. We DO NOT provide sheets, pillow cases or towels. Lots of space on a quiet, dead end street, go across the street and you are at a private beach for Ossippee Residents only. Or drive 1 mile to the resident boat landing and beach. There is a convenience store within walking distance for all your vacation needs including fresh produce, meats, and take out along with a restaurant within walking distance that has a new Tiki bar out front. Also Long Beach Marina across the street with boat and jet ski rentals.

We have stayed here twice, and it never disappoints. Check in is easy and the owners are very responsive. perfect size and location for a nice lake getaway. Highly recommend! Value for what you receive is also on point and it's really a home away from home for us! Can't wait to come again next year!

There was ABSOLUTELY no privacy. No curtains or blinds on ANY of the windows. Thankfully we had extra towels & blankets to hang over the bedroom & bathroom windows. My husband had to cut the lawn. The “dining”table was broken & fell on my daughter. The attic was a mess & totally un-useable- not at ALL what the picture showed. The “porch” was crowded with chairs for the dining table. No railing on the stairs to the attic which added a safety concern for the kids. We had to squeeZe the blow up mattress for the children in the living room. Only 1 bedroom had a dresser. One bedroom the fan didn’t work. No matter how long we had the AC on, the house wasn’t cooling down. We made the best of it, but dissatisfied with our stay.
