Poderone is set in open countryside where wild forest gives way to arable and dairy farmland in the Alta Maremma, the resort is a collection of individually owned cottages with its own pool. By contrast adrenaline seekers will want to head 18Km up Monte Amiata to downhill ride one of Tuscany's highest peaks at the Amiata Free Ride Bike Resort. The more relaxed spa town of Saturnia at 20Km boasts Etruscan ruins, hot springs and a piazza lined with divine restaurants including one that serves the best ravioli ever! For wine lovers, the home of Morellino di Scansano is at 30Km where you can discover their fresh crisp wines. Away from the crowds, this resort helps you discover a Tuscany you didn't know.
