Fantastic Ocean facing views and just a few blocks from the sandy beach, your 2-bedroom condo at Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort sleeps 8 and includes 2 bathrooms and one king size bed in each bedroom. Your accommodations also include a queen size sleeper sofa and Murphy-bed in the living room and feature a full kitchen, cable TV, private balcony, A/C, hairdryers, DVD, and more. The bathrooms are updated with granite counters and combination tub/shower. Free Wireless Internet access in all units and common areas. Amazing Beachfront views right from your own private balcony. Convenient to the next-door Historic Bonnet House Museum and Gardens and the adjacent State Park for bicycle riding. It is just a walk across the bridge to the Galleria Mall and water taxi stop and just 2 blocks from a bus stop for the route that runs along the beach highway A1A. On site parking and elevator service make access convenient and there is a workout center and laundromat in the building. Plenty of restaurants and shops within a few blocks.

The unit was very nice and had a wonderful view of the ocean... and the interesting neighborhood around us.
Not only did we have the Bonnett House to our south and Hugh Taylor Stage Park to our north (which provided safe haven from the crowds), we could walk to five different restaurants of varying menus that pleased everyone in the family within 2 minutes! There was a convenient store (Smile Mart) across the street that offers all of the amenities you would need from soda, cereal, milk, sunscreen, fresh-made breakfast sandwiches, fruit and beach chairs!
YoMama Ice cream parlor was the mainstay each night, although pricey, they make amazing ice cream and the staff is friendly.
The staff at Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort were attentive and friendly. A special shout-out to Ron who was the bartender at the poolside bar made exceptional smoothies for both the kids and adults. The music poolside was not too loud but oh-so-enjoyable!
The property itself was inviting but shows signs of its age. The interior is in need of updating, however given the view, the size, free covered parking and the location, we would gladly return given the price and all that this location has to offer.
