Beautiful, carefully restored country house, located in the middle of the green hills of Mugello between Vicchio and Dicomano. Manor house "La Badia", 300 m a.s.l.. 4.5 km from the centre of Dicomano, 38 km from the centre of Firenze, in a quiet, sunny, elevated position, in the countryside. Private: property 8'000 m2 (fenced), swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 120 - 220 cm, seasonal availability: 01.Apr. - 31.Oct.). Paddling pool, outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue. In the house: central heating system, heating to be paid on the spot, heating available only from 01.Nov. - 27.Mar.. Motor access to 500 m from the house (via unmade road). Parking on the premises. We were 14 people alltogether with a couple kids. The driveway up to the property was a bit of a disaster. You would not want a lower car trying to make it up there. Once you get to the property though it is quickly forgotten about. Overall we had a fantastic holiday spending time with family and friends. It is very private and clean. Staff ,G. end E., were very helpful, friendly and attentive. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

Soweit war die Wegbeschreibung ok, doch als es dann den direkten Weg zur Unterkunft ging, also mit einem tiefer gelegtem Fahrzeug eher schlecht, die Auffahrt ist steil und der Weg eher als Pfad zu bezeichnen.
