Whether you’re on a weekend getaway, wedding, travel sports or visiting relatives, this Moonrise Haven Cabin in Hammond is the perfect place for the whole family. Sleeps up to 6 people. Featuring a King Bed in The Master and Two Queen Beds in the 2nd Bedroom. This vacation rental features over 975 square feet of living area, 75 square foot covered front porch over looking a 6 acre lake. Enjoy the fishing, swimming or sunning, share meals on the porch. Ready to explore? This property is a 40 acre oasis with over 100 Live Oak trees. This Cabin is on 40 acres with three other STR's. The Pool, Lake, Sand Volleyball and Park are shared with all other STR guest.

I would 10/10 recommend staying here, and would stay here again. It was a very clean, quiet/private, and comfortable stay. The hosts are amazing to communicate with being very kind and quick to respond. Hope to be back in the future to further enjoy all that is truly offered here.

This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay! Be aware that the stairs to the upstairs beds are extremely cumbersome and really only suitable for children. Other than that I would highly recommend this place. It's fantastic inside and out.

I would call this Tiny Luxury. This is the cutest property and it has everything you need. From extra towels to any kitchen utensil necessary. The beds were very comfortable, love the Cooling units in all the spaces to cool the rooms to your comfort level. The grill and fire pit area are a nice outdoor addition. The gravel walkway is well lit at night. Loved the view of the pond while drinking morning coffee on the deck. The only thing this place needs is sod around the house area. It rained heavily our first day there and the mud took away from the picturesque view from the back deck. It is located with easy access to I-12 so you can pop down the New Orleans in about 45 mins to an hour and about 20 mins from Tickfaw State Park. This was perfect for our family of 4 adults.
