Galene is located on the seafront of Maiori, a city of the Costa d'Amalfi. The town is rich of incomparable beauty, with trekking routes and beaches, it also amazes its visitors with the numerous watchtowers rising above the sea. Maiori has the longest beach on the entire Amalfi Coast - almost 1 km - consequently making it one of the most convenient destination for young people and families who want to visit the rugged Amalfi coast, and at the same time do not want to give up the convenience of a wide beach and well organized infrastructures.
The beach can be reached in 30 seconds, the harbor, from where it is possible to reach by ferry all the characteristic towns of the Amalfi Coast, Vietri, Cetara, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi, Praiano and Positano,
avoiding the traffic jam, it can be reached with a short walk of about 3 minutes along the seafront of Maiori.
All the rooms of the structure enjoy a beautiful view of the entire gulf of Maiori, of the Mezzacapo Castle (built at the end of the 19th century, it is a truly fascinating building built by Marchese Mezzacapo, in the town of Maiori, on a rocky spur overlooking the sea), of the Norman Tower (the oldest of the coastal towers and one of the first visible from the sea), of the port and the surrounding mountains.
