What a beautiful stay. On the negative side, it was difficult to find. Google Maps tried to take us down a very sketchy road that we wouldn’t have gotten through. We did call the hosts and they met us nearby and led us to the place. Also, there are no kitchen supplies or toiletries, so bring your own.
That being said, the place is beautiful and the views are outstanding. We stayed in many incredible places during our two weeks in Italy, but this one will stay in our memories more than any other. I can’t overstate how beautiful and peaceful this place is. It’s also smack in the middle of the Val D’Orcia and near many beautiful Tuscan hill towns like Pienza and Montepulciano. Incredible.

Amazing property with spectacular views convenient to all the best towns in southern Tuscany. The pool was a perfect spot to relax after exploring the local towns and the villa had lots of charm and character. The only item to be improved is there were no supplies of any kind in the home (salt, pepper, condiments, garbage bags) but maybe that was because we were early in the season. If you're looking for relaxation away from it all this is the place.

Casa Frati is exactly what our small group was looking for. An idyllic house set on the perfect hillside with stunning views - worth getting up for a sunrise. Kitchen has everything you need with a great indoor and outdoor eating area. Rooms and showers were also all a good size. The house is designed to give groups two separate, private areas if needed. Not hard to find with enough small restaurants in a short 5-10 min driving distance. Just beware no screens on the windows and gets buggy.

Ruim huis met een ongelooflijk prachtig uitzicht. Het zwembad was heerlijk en werd heel goed onderhouden . Zomer '22 was snikheet en de schaduw van de bomen was welkom. De vele olijfbomen kreunden echter van de droogte. Mooie dorpjes op enkele km. Een auto is echt nodig. Er is wel achterstallig onderhoud nodig. Veel lampen deden het niet. Overal veel ongedierte, maar dat is op het platteland misschien wel gewoon. Op het eind geweigerd om extra te betalen voor het bubbelbad want inbegrepen.
