Hale Halia is just steps from Poipu Beach park with unparalleled oceanfront views and is a great family vacation destination. This lovely two-story floor plan is a design that takes full advantage of the magnificent Poipu coastline and sunset views. The large spa situated on the deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy after a day at the beach. You can hear the waves crashing upon the shore from almost every bedroom and throughout the common areas of the home. The open great room features many windows and a large seating capacity to comfortably admire the fabulous views.

We traveled with 10 family members. The location, pool area and living space were excellent. I felt like I was at a resort in the pool area. It looks as pictured and a short walk to Brennecke’s and Puka dogs. We had a great vacation together. One member of our group had a tough time with the air conditioning split units, they all worked great in the bedrooms, however, there was only one ac split unit for the great room, the kitchen the hallways and the two baths. It was fully operational just a lot of territory for that unit. We tried it with bedroom doors open and it didn’t seem to help. You are instructed to turn it off when you are gone because the system can’t handle being on all day. When we would get home, it would be miserable. So basically I would say this rental has great AC in the bedrooms, but otherwise plan on having the windows open. I would definitely return because the heat doesn’t affect me as much as other members of our party. It was a very hot week when we were there and I loved it!

We had an awesome stay. The house was perfectly equipped - the pool and grounds were amazing. The view was more than we could have hoped for. Ian was very responsive and we are thinking about when we can return! Thank you!

This property has the best location imaginable. The view out the front looking at Brenneke's Beach is exceptional and close up. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Yes, there were minor issues but almost insignificant. Want a good time? This is the place!

You stay here for the view. The great room (living room kitchen) was amazing! Plenty of seating and kitchen was beautifully stocked. Convenient AC in each room. Easy parking, amazing location, very responsive host. What surprised us was how dated the rest of the house was and that parts were in disrepair. The side gate was broken and had been for quite sometime as the pool guy who comes weekly commented that it was still broken. The bathrooms were unpleasant to be in, the downstairs shower had such little water pressure it was unusable and all of the shower pans were stained brown. The carpet upstairs needed to be replaced years ago and I felt gross walking on it. There were funky smells in the upstairs bedrooms. It was less apparent when we aired out the house everyday but at night we closed up to use the AC in the bedrooms since it was hot upstairs and as soon as the windows were closed there was an unpleasant smell that filled the rooms. We loved the proximity to the beaches, the house layout, and how quiet it was given all of the traffic that passed by every day. We just wish the house was in better shape.
