Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed for a two night trip on a weekend. What a great location! It’s a quick drive into downtown. The inn was clean. The space was so nice! We loved the ample seating, in the house, outside, on the front porch. That front porch made for a great hang out spot! We loved that they had cornhole and a pool table. The table isn’t in great condition but it plays well and we spent a lot of time playing. Because it’s an old place, some of the outlets in bedrooms didn’t charge our devices at night, and the door to the front of the house couldn’t be locked. But those were our only complaints and honestly, it wasn’t bad at all. We had a lovely time!

First off, what a cool property with a ton of history. The front porch is a perfect place to chill out with a drink in hand. The property was clean and had exactly what was listed available. The grill was very dirty from previous guests but we made it work (and cleaned it before leaving). Bring your own bbq tools though! We couldn’t figure out how to get the AC to work but there are windows galore and so many fans around the house. We loved the location. Just a few minute drive into town. We had 7 adults and 2 kids, and we had a few extra beds to spare. Lots of space for hanging out, inside and out. The pool table has seen better days but it works, and we spent a lot of time playing that and cornhole (which they also have at the house). Two fridges so you have plenty of room for drinks and food. If we visit the area again, we’d definitely try to book here.

First, on a positive note, the property accommodated all of us. However, no door on the first floor bedroom. Kitchen access door did not lock. The front door had a note on it to not turn the lock. On our first night we were greeted by a bat that entertaining but somewhat unsettling. There was no note to enable the wi-fi connection to the internet. My son found a way then we found the pw in a coffee cup in the cupboard. The pool table was an attractive feature but patched with duck tape and the cue sticks were almost unusable. Important because son, nephew, great nephew wanted to play me and beat me. Traveled to a local pub/bowling alley to have the matches. Of course they lost. Didn't know the docks opposite the facility were part of an association. The annual fee is $75. Wasn't paid. We were not supposed to utilize. Son had worked with one of the neighbors in NYC. Worked out. Overall, the facility is not well maintained. Otherwise we would rent again!
