Huge crowds celebrate the annual Notting Hill Carnival at the end of August, whose parades and calypso music reflect the area’s Caribbean roots and create an amazing city vibe. Notting Hill is peaceful, unique and fun and is a great place to wind down and relax if you wish to do so. The area is well-connected with Notting Hill Underground station served by the Central, Circle and District lines on the one side, and Ladbroke Grove tube station on the other side served by the Hammersmith & City line.
