Great hosts and place. Very well kept and close enough to main roads to be able to go town easy. Also, short walk to an awesome winery. Will definitely come back.

The property and lodge was enjoyable and relaxing. Extremely needed after amazing views of nearby attractions. Plenty of space to spend time together or if you needed your own space. Brian was prompt to any questions. Driveway was a slight challenge but easy to overcome since my children are adults. Neighborhood is peaceful with sounds of country. I would definitely recommend the hosts! Looking forward to returning to Hocking Hills!

Location and setting was good. About 20 minutes to Old Man’s and Ash Cave. Less time to the Rock House. Also close to The Antique mall, which we all enjoyed. Even our 7 year olds. Our hosts were somewhat responsive to a text about the hot tub. However, we got no response when asking where additional hand soap, (for 2 of the bathrooms) and matches for the wood burning stove could e found. The lower level was newer and brightly lit. However, the arcade game required quarters, not mentioned in the description. Lots of children disappointed when no one had quarters. The main level was very poorly lit. We had to use our phones flashlights to put a puzzle together at the table. The kitchen was cramped and cabinet doors were missing. Kitchen was adequately stocked with pots and pans. The kitchen rug was dirty. A toy rolled under the sofa, it had been a very long time since that area had been swept. Dust fell off of a ceiling fan Blade in one of the bedrooms when pulling on the light switch. The carpet in the loft was stained and dirty. The bathrooms were clean as well as the kitchen sink and counter. With the exception of the king bed in the loft, the beds were firm to “ really hard”. Extra blankets would have been nice. The hot tub worked. I have stayed in many rentals, and have never felt I had to leave a negative review. With a deep clean and attention to the small details, this cabin would be worth the price.
