"Sugar Bear Lodge" is the perfect place to relax and unwind while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. Imagine on the deck in the hot tub on a clear night and viewing all the stars that seem so close you could reach out and grab them. This cabin will forever glow in your memory like the twinkling of the stars in the sky.
Located in Sky Harbor, between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this property is conveniently close to both areas and would be approximately a 15-minute drive to either. This property offers paved roads all the way up to the cabin, but steep inclines and curves make this cabin motorcycle friendly only at the riders’ discretion. 4-wheel drive vehicles may be needed in inclement weather. There is comfortable parking on an inclined driveway available for up to 2 vehicles.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sleeps 6 is 2 levels. This cabin offers wooded and partial mountain views over the treetops. There are 10 steps to reach the entrance to this cabin. On the main level, there is a fully equipped kitchen with dining for 4, a living area with a stone gas fireplace, queen sofa sleeper, loveseat, and a TV. There is also a queen bedroom with a shared full bathroom that has a combination shower and bathtub. The deck offers patio furniture, along with a hot tub which is perfect for stargazing.
In the upper level, there is an additional queen bedroom with a full bathroom, a jacuzzi tub, and a walk-in shower.

The cabin was cute but we had to call 3x to get the fireplace running, and there are critters in the attic. Screeching, scratching, and loud wings fluttering during the night. A little unnerving for my kids.
