Chic 2 room apartment, 2 bathrooms, heated pool, sea view, close to Trogir

We loved the pool and the short walk to the pleasant beach. Property was modern and clean, and had everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay

Everything from initial contacts, arrival, during-stay contact with owner and departure was smooth. The owner Danko is an elderly gentleman who is absolutely phenomenal; super friendly, able to tell a good story, but also respectful of your privacy. Diana, his daughter, an initial contact and also extremely friendly and helpful. All of the property is kept in excellent order both inside and out, plants and trees maintained. The pool area, which is completely new from spring 2019 is absolutely fantastic, both design and function. Beautiful and the pictures you see on the Vrbo site are correct with the views over the bay. There are a total of 4 apartments in the building in addition to the part that the family lives in themselves, one very large on the very top with a very large terrace and the one we stayed in with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and an adequate terrace overlooking the bay as well and then two smaller rooms one on the front with terrace overlooking bay and one on the side of building probably with less of an unblocked view (although we were not in it). The pool is a saltwater based pool, which we love and it was kept top-notch the whole week. We had already been adventuring in Slovenia so we did not want to do a bunch of excursions, so the pool was fabulous. We did one day on the ocean and next time in Croatia we will go for more water days and less land-days :-) . The nearby beach 10 minutes slow walk, is like most Croatian beaches tiny small pebbles and beautiful water with some blocking off with ropes and bayous for safety of swimmers. Also nearby there were some quite good restaurants along the harbor and otherwise we took the taxi boat from there to Trogir. Trogir is very busy and too many tourists for our taste. some good restaurants and one EXCELLENT one (TRS ... yes that is the name).... ask for the waiter Anton, very correct, very friendly and very knowledgeable. One bad experience (although high on Tripadvisor) Alka. The biggest problem in the area is the huge hotel building standing at the harbor front unfinished due to some building regulative breech and the other problem (which I know you find a lot of other places, but sorry still needs mentioning) is the trash thrown everywhere, obviously with a city leadership not taking responsibility. Taking care of that would change the impression. In total a wonderful host, wonderful place but a local area needing help. Good place for a base.
