The Space:
Wake up to a picture-perfect city view with Porto’s rooftops, landmarks, and the peaceful olive trees of the BASE Porto garden right outside your window. From your bed, you can enjoy one of the most postcard-worthy views in the city, a rare find for a studio apartment in downtown Porto.
The apartment features a comfortable bed, quality linens, fresh towels, and a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for both short and longer stays. Whether you’re visiting Porto for a romantic getaway, a city break, or a cultural trip, this studio combines comfort with location.
As is typical of traditional Porto buildings, the property does not have an elevator, and due to architectural preservation regulations, air conditioning cannot be installed. These elements are part of the building’s historic charm and do not detract from the experience, especially with cafés, bars, and gardens just steps away.
Guest Access:
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (without elevatyor) and accommodates up to 2 people and has all amenities needed for you to feel at home.
The Neighborhood:
Downstairs, you’ll find a local bakery and café offering fresh bread and pastries, perfect for breakfast at home or on the go. Step outside and explore Porto on foot: the Livraria Lello, Ribeira riverfront, São Bento station, restaurants, wine bars, and major attractions are all within walking distance.
Getting Around:
The best way to get around downtown is walking however right in front fo the building you can take advantage of the Tuk-Tuk. Within 10 minutes walking downhill you are going to find the São Bento train station and the metro station as well.
It will take you about 15 minutes walking to get to the Douro River and if you are tired to come back up to the apartment feel free to call an Uber :)

My wife and I had an absolutely perfect visit to Porto and the Clerigos apt. made it even better. The views of the city, park and tower were beautiful, even saw a wedding from the window. There are many shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as all the sites. Note there are lots of hills and cobblestone streets in town. We had to move our 4-day trip up by one day and the owners were very helpful and communicative. During our visit we had a drain issue in the shower and they delivered a plumbing product within 2 hours which fixed the problem. The apt. has everything you need, toiletries, kitchen tools, ironing board, espresso machine and mini fridge. The bed is firm but comfortable and note - this is technically on the 4th floor as the first, "Zero" floor has no units so be prepared to climb. (55 steps. We counted.) Another note - toilet paper and paper towels are not restocked if you're staying for a longer period of time but there is a very affordable Minipreco grocery mart within walking distance to stock up. The hot water tank is smaller than the average US tank so take quick showers or take them at least 30 min. apart. Make sure you try the gelato shop downstairs, it's fantastic! Overall our visit was perfect, we'll absolutely recommend this apt. to others, amazing location.

The property was in a great location, just a little off the touristy beaten path. Very clean, good amenities and close to a lot of Porto we normally wouldn’t have seen. We were very happy with our host communications. We would stay here again.

We had a great time in Porto partly due to this great rental. The property was within walking distance of all the major attractions, restaurants and night life. The cafe's and gelato shops were an extra bonus.

This place was convenient to many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Transportation available right at front door. Ver clean. I have to say we did not think 3rd floor is 4 flights of stairs but we managed fine. I slept very well while staying there which is a big deal for me.
