About this chalet rental
Summer in Vermont is a favorite NYC and MA getaway - the best swimming, hiking, mountain biking, lake life days, and farmer markets. It’s all about the open Stratton mountain views at this centrally-located chalet. 5 mins to Stratton pond; perfect for swimming, picnicking, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Connect to the outdoor speakers, make an outdoor fire back at the cabin and enjoy the new, hydrotherapy hot tub as the sun sets just to the right of the mountain.
Work from home with air conditioning and high speed 200Mbps wifi and enjoy spectacular views of Stratton Mountain at this newly renovated chalet perched on the top of a hill located in Winhall, VT. Just minutes to the beautiful Stratton Snow Making Pond where you can kayak, canoe, paddle board and enjoy a summer swim.
Air conditioning - The top floor has air conditioning and the bottom floor stays cool even when temperatures reach the 90s. This is because the home was built on a concrete slab. Additionally, cool air from the upstairs air conditioner helps to keep the downstairs cool. The bedrooms do not have individual air conditioning units but stay very comfortable even when it’s hot out.
There are three comfortable bedrooms located on the first floor and a beautiful loft-style living space with vaulted ceilings, a dining room and brand new kitchen on the second floor. The home has a large wrap-around deck with views of Stratton Mountain, a brand new Weber grill and outdoor speakers.
Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds (Beautyrest and Casper mattresses) and one of them has a full-size bed (Beautyrest mattress). The bedrooms are approximately 11 x 10 feet and have a beautiful, clean aesthetic, each with its own vibe. There is also a queen-size, air mattress by Serta that is available to use as well.
The top floor has largely been renovated and has a lovely, professionally designed living room with a wood-burning fireplace. There is plenty of wood which is complementary and we also stock fire-starters for your stay. There is a workspace area in the living room that has a comfortable desk and chair and a wireless printer.
There is a fully-stocked and well equipped, brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a Bosch dishwasher. Our *new* modern bathroom has heated floors, a walk-in shower, and a new washer dryer set located on the first floor. There is also a renovated half-bathroom with a toilet and sink on the upper level.
Outside there is a new Breeo stainless steel firepit which is wonderful to sit by as it's about 95% smokeless and outdoor Jenga. There is a new Weber grill which is a delight to cook on.
The house has a wrap-around private deck with beautiful views. The house has an on-site washer and dryer and guests can enjoy the entire space and all of the amenities. Additionally, we only use green and organic cleaning materials.

🐾 Pet Policy: We welcome small, hypoallergenic, well-trained adult dogs. There is a $85 fee per night, per pet (maximum 2). To protect the home, we cannot accommodate puppies.
❄️ Winter Travel Safety: Our chalet sits on a well-maintained hill. For winter visits, an AWD or 4WD vehicle equipped with snow tires is required to navigate southern VT safely in the winter.
👥 Occupancy: The chalet is designed for a maximum of 6 guests. (Extra guests must be approved and incur a $150/night fee).
📝 Rental Agreement: Upon booking, the primary guest will be required to sign a standard rental agreement before check-in.

Beautiful spot, we came to ski during Spring Break but the snow was poor, fortunately we had a wonderful place to stay and unwind. The hot tub and sauna facilities were fantastic and the property was incredibly well equipped. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable, I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Great stay, house was cozy even though the temps outside were bitterly cold, enjoyed the hot tub and barrel sauna. Great Stratton ski get away for our family of 4. House was clean and well stocked...some hot tub towels would have been nice, but we made do. We would stay here again.

Fantastic location, scenery and chalet. Everything was amazing. Our hosts were attentive friendly and welcoming. We really appreciate that, especially now when customer service seems to be declining.
