Belmont is a small suburban city in Gaston County, North Carolina, United States, located about 15 miles west of uptown Charlotte and 9 miles east of Gastonia. The population was 10,076 at the 2010 census. Once known as Garibaldi Station, the name change for Belmont is disputed. Some say it was named after a prominent New York banker - August Belmont.

We were able to check in a little bit early, which was very accommodating. Not quite enough hot water for four people to have showers and a short time frame we could never get the Wi-Fi to work. The location was very good for the purposes of our visit to Belmont. The owner/property manager was very prompt with responses each time we reached out. The neighbors that we spoke with over the course of the weekend were all very nice.

A friend and I travelled to Belmont to attend my daughter’s wedding. I was very anxious, as we were 2 60’s years + women, traveling alone. There are no pictures of the house on the VBro listing. I found a cute remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bath home on a one way street in quiet neighborhood. Belmont is a quaint town.
This house had all of the amenities to make the house comfortable.
I had difficulties getting into the house, but when I reached the host, he corrected this immediately, via remote.
I couldn’t access the WiFI, but was so busy enjoying the area & family, I didn’t need it.
I would stay at this place again.
