Enjoy a beautiful side-view of the gulf from our balcony. Our cozy, studio condo is fully furnished and has recently been completely remodeled. This condo comfortably sleeps three people. It has a queen-size bed and a twin-size pull-out from the love seat. This unit is equipped with a full kitchen with a breakfast bar that seats two. A washer and dryer are available for use in the unit.

Experience warm, white sandy beaches and shimmering blue-green waters that are accessible within just a few steps from our condo. The Sugar Shack is open during prime season and is conveniently located next to the pools. The Sugar Shack offers a variety of snacks including hamburgers and hot dogs. They also have adult beverages as well as soda and water. Charcoal grills are readily available for you to cook a delicious meal.

Sugar Beach features three adult swimming pools and one kiddie pool. One pool is heated throughout the year. Sugar Beach also offers tennis courts. Restrooms, showers, and changing areas are located within a close walk to the pools and the beach.

Rentals: During the prime season, there is an array of rentals available on the sandy white beach including beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, and beach games.

Free WiFi internet access is provided to our guests, and the password is sent to you. You are provided a Smart TV, but will have to provide your account information for Netflix, Hulu, etc. (make sure to log out). The condo is equipped with keyless entry, and the code will be provided close to your reservation.

Parking: The guest must purchase a parking permit on-site upon arrival at the guard shack. The parking permit is $35/car and is CASH only. The pass is good for the stay.

Pets: Guests may NOT bring pets. Only owners’ pets are allowed at Sugar Beach Condominiums.

Check-in is at 4 pm. Please do not check in before 4 pm without approval. Check-out is at 10am. Please make sure to check out on time. Noncompliance with these rules will result in additional charges.

Smoking: absolutely NO smoking in the unit. Failure to comply will result in additional charges.

Please do not inquire about renting this unit outside of the VRBO program; you will be denied. All bookings will be paid securely and directly through VRBO.

Nicely updated studio! Very comfortable. Side view of the gulf was also nice, however, the large complex next door had a slightly noisy pool and kids play area.

Negatives: Disappointing with one pan to fry an egg and the non stick of the pan is basically gone…the tv lacking instructions on how to operate causing us to have Baywatch on the tv while in the room and we are not Baywatch fans, very limited utensils, the mattresses on both beds..not comfortable. Maybe it was overlooked in what is provided..but the toilet paper roll was very limited and none to be found. Positives:close to the beach

The check-in, communications, and inside of the room were all great. Though the listing shows a different view and the AC on the outside looked horrible. The view was of the next buildings kid pool but the listing shows just sand as the view. The room is great but there needs to be updates for the listing and that AC NEEDS to be fixed.

Not the best, but not the worst. Very small. Building is old. Very limited view of gulf. Balcony could use some updates. Elevator was out of order upon arrival. Parking is difficult, not many spaces and very close together. Pools were ok. There are only a few tables with shade around pools. Kitchen ware is limited, few utensils, cups, etc. Unit was ok for the two of us.

Rooms fine have stayed in this room many times what I have an issue with is the hoa manager whose name is Austin. A pipe fell from the roof of the parking garage and did almost 6000 in damage to my car he said don’t worry get two estimates we will take care of it. After nearly 3 weeks of getting a run around he stated they aren’t responsible due to park at own risk so anyone who stays at this property beware they won’t stand by what they say. Was fine when we was there but now that I’m 9 hrs away he’s changed his story after saying get the estimates then it was get the car fixed and send me a final invoice which no way in hell I’m paying 6 grand plus another 900 for rental car without any guarantee he was gonna keep his word. So if you stay at any of the sugar beach rooms or any owned by Steve Earle beware cause he’s no help in the matter as well after telling me give me some time I’m working and I’ll get back with you. So if you want a cheap room for a week that literally 60 secs from room to sand this is the one for you just don’t expect the hoa manager to stand by his word in case something happen to your car during your stay

The physical room itself was good. The bed was also very comfy. The reason I’m not giving this place 5 starts is for 2 reasons. One, the balcony view picture needs to be updated due to the fact the new hotel is next door and takes a lot of the view away. Second, the last night we were there a huge roach can out from under the stove. We would stay here again if given the chance.

My husband and I enjoyed the condo. We've stayed at Sugar Beach a couple of times, but this unit was our favorite so far. Steve is absolutely wonderful! Quick to respond and everything we needed was provided. Close to the beach and getting in and out was super easy. We will def book this unit again.

Everything was good. This was our 5th time in this unit (8th year @ SB). We know what to expect. On a separate note, unrelated to the unit, if you use the beach chair service, tell them you will tip at the end. The vendor is no longer ABC, which offered excellent service and was very attentive, offering to move the umbrellas frequently. The new vendor only made the rounds to check on their customers on one of the five days we paid for their “service”.

Checking in was easy. Parking is $35 upon arrival. Apartment was cute and clean. Construction is next door. There are slight views of the ocean ...the high rise next door has construction from 8 am to 5 pm daily. Didn't bug us since we werent in the room during the day. Great little place for a weekend escape!

This is a perfect little condo for a couple to get away for the week or weekend. It has easy beach access and a great location that's close driving distance to just about everything. We would recommend this place for people looking for an affordable gulf coast spot.

The place was okay except the cleaning was awful. Floors were filthy with chunks of dirt and hairballs. Countertops sticky, appliance's dirty, pans rusty. Cleaners fault. Murphy Queen bed. Fridge had to be cleaned. It took us about two hours cleaning before we laid our food into fridge. Owner should check on his place.

The place was Filthy, floors were so dirty we could not take our shoes off, TV did not work for 2 days until repair man came and reprogrammed it and he they needed to replace it with a new one because it was so old, the rugs in the bath were so dirty they could not be used until washed and The air conditioner quit working the third nite so we left the place a day early because we had decide we had been basically screw with false advertising and the mouse poop on the air conditioner and floor was ridiculous . I could add much more but I hope you get idea. A Big Renter Beware Sign Would Be Appropriate / S&E Clark

Always fantastic with it being steps from the beach. Just the right size for two people who don’t spend a lot of time in the room plus has everything you could ask for in a home away from home. Easy in and out being at the end of orange beach so traffic isn’t an issue. Also so convenient having the snack shack open daily for lunch with fantastic sandwiches to have while enjoying the sunshine.
