About this farm stay rental
This little cottage is located in a distance of only 8km from Lucca, near the “street of wine”, in a residential area. La Capannella is completely free standing and has been restructured with care and transformed into an inviting holiday home.
The house disposes of a private garden (about 400 sqm) equipped with table, chairs and a barbeque and a swimming pool, (built in the earth 6,60 x 2,8m – depth: 1,2m) also equipped with deck chairs and sun umbrella.
Parking within the property.
IThe Guests can organize foot walks or bike trips to the surrounding hills or visit the beautiful historical Villas in the surroundings, such as Villa Mansi and Villa Reale, Villa Oliva and Villa Torrigiani. Shops (100m) and restaurants (1 – 2 km) are within an easy reach. The most important Tuscan art cities like Florence, Siena and Pisa can also be discovered in easily.

Entrance ground Floor: spacious living room with fireplace, 1 double bed settee, TV – Sat, tall glass door with exit onto the garden, kitchen/dining room with table and chairs, stove (4 fires)/oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer, exit from the kitchen onto the outdoor area. Night zone: 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom with exit onto the garden, 1 bathroom with cabin shower, toilet, bidet.
The house is furnished with care in cottage style with wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled pavements and in friendly pastel coloured walls.
Air conditioning in the living room and in the 2 bedrooms.
Possibility to rent the house for a maximum of 2 people during the middle, low and very low season, reducing the weekly price by 15%.
Pool opened from beginning of May until end of September, for the exact dates please contact us.
The following might be to be paid extra: Babycot, Electricity, Final Cleaning, Heating, Refundable Security Deposit in cash, Tourist tax.

Grazie Mille for a wonderful stay in your lovely house. We enjoyed cooling off from the heat in the pool and the boys liked doing lenghts and going under water. We visited Lucca many times and cycled on the walls which was great fun! We also went to the beach at Viareggio, saw the Leaning Tower in Pisa, visited towns and villages in the Tuscan hills like Barga and Bagni di Luicca which were lovely! Barga has some stunning views!

A really lovely, comfortable and well equipped house which is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the swimming pool is fantastic. Our hosts were great - they are warm, welcoming and generous. We cannot wait to return!

We've had such a wonderful week in your gorgeous villa. Thank you for the fruit, wine and amazing Limoncello. The villa has been such a nice place to relax, our son Jacob has really enjoyed sleeping in his room and has got used to a late night swim before bed time. The bed linen and towels smell so homely and every detail has been so well thought out, we couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks again!

Thank you once again for a wonderful holiday - La Capannella is a real home away from home for us now. The house and pool are absolutely perfect, and both owners are so kind and welcoming. We have stayed in many holiday homes from The Isle of Skye to California and nowhere has been more homely than here. Everything we could need. We visited Lucca every 2nd day - it's so close! - also did a day trip to Cinque Terre which we would highly recommend. Bike rental from Lucca was super easy - Ciclismoplus are great. Also Gelateria Veneta in Lucca (the oldest gelato shop) is very good! Another amazing holiday - hope to see you soon!
