About this house rental
Cozy, family retreat that has 2 bedrooms upstairs (one has a queen size bed the other has a full size bed), one small bedroom downstairs that has a bunkbed (great for kids) and the living room has a sleeper sofa that has a queen size air mattress. It has a 4 piece bathroom, full service kitchen as well as a gas grill outside. The cottage is located on a quiet street within 0.1 mile walking distance to a beautiful, private beach. But parking is located nearby, and there is one parking pass for the cottage. Also, there will be an ice cream truck that comes around about lunchtime and stays for most of the afternoon. We do have beach chairs and an an umbrella that you may use. The ocean is calm, and during low tide, it has a great sand bar for kids to play on. The property is only a couple miles from Niantic Center, which hosts great dining, family entertainment, live bands, and a great boardwalk (that has Gumdrops & Lollipops Candy & Ice Cream located right next to it) that hugs the coastline. The cottage has all the amenities, including cable, WiFi, A/C, and a great outdoor entertainment area. Come, and enjoy all this seaside home offer

We had an excellent stay. I only gave 4 stars because I had a severe allergic reaction to all the scented plugins, cleaning products and laundered linens.

This is my second stay at this house. It is a very easy walk to the private beach and just a little farther to Rocky Neck state beach. Large house with everything you need. Great communication with the owners. I had a question about the grill and contacted the owner through the VRBO app. I got a call back in a few minutes.

Great place to stay in Giants Neck! Well stocked and plenty of room. Short walk too the beach and great communication with the owners. Has some quirks of an old home, but the price of stay was very fair to the property and location.

We love this area! We walked down to the beach for the sunset each evening - love the non-commercialism of East Lyme. Just lovely!
