Visitors can explore the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, the Dracula Experience near the harbour, and the famous Whitby Abbey, which offers stunning views after a climb up the 199 steps. Whitby is also home to annual events like the Whitby Goth and Steampunk weekends, the Regatta, and the Whitby Folk Festival, ensuring there is always something exciting happening in the area.
