About this house rental
Casa Monsória is a simply stunning property with private swimming pool nestled in the centre of Carvoeiro only a stones throw from the beach.
The accommodation itself comprises of 3 en-suite bedrooms and an open plan kitchen / living / dining area. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and the third bedroom has bunk neds and is therefore ideally suited to children / young teens. The living / dining area opens onto a large balcony with spectacular views of the town beach. The balcony is partially covered and offers further options for outdoor seating and dining. The master bedroom boasts the same striking view of Carvoeiro beach and opens onto another balcony.
A hidden oasis, the pool and garden radiate an ambience of relaxation and tranquility yet you are only metres from an abundance of restaurants, shops and bars.
The swimming pool is a 6m x 6m and is bordered by a terrace equipped with sun loungers, parasols, a pergola, outdoor dining area and barbecue.
There is Wi-Fi, air conditioning and cots and high chiars are available on request.
Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly town. From Carvoeiro beach run regular boat trips to the vast array of caves and caverns in the area. There is a scuba diving centre nearby, kayaking, pedaloes and much more. Carvoeiro offers numerous superb bars and restaurants and many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.
Please note that owing to the apartment's excellent, central location that noise disruption is a possibility in the summer months.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

I did really enjoyed the place the house it's the same as shown on the picture.
Unfortunately The check in process wasn't the best. I have been sent an email about the self check in from a different email that I wasn't aware and when I arrived in the house I was trying to find it which I couldn't because I never been notified that the check in would be sent in a different email. Lack of communication that made me spend money in a different hotel in order for me not sleep outside with the rest of my group. I was trying to reach the property manager that I was talking to but No phone line only email.
Around 00:00 I couldn't get in touch with someone that could let me in or explain me that the check in has been sent from a different email.
During the night I had to oay for a different hotel for the 5 of us Whiis called Colinas da lapa, Luckily I ended up not sleeping outside, This lack of communication made me loose one day that I could spend in the house. All our flights got delayed that's why we arrived late.
Apart from that the house is clean and have all the facilities that they show on this platform I have no complaints about the house.
But the lack of communication about the self check in made apart of the experience ruined but overall a good place to stay with great neighbours and friendly ones That I had the chance to meet.
I would for sure spend time in this place again because I loved it, it was a small issue but the house is amazing
