We’re avid riders ourselves, so we know what makes a snowmobile trip easy and fun:
• Trail 41 – only 1.5 miles away
• Jackpine Bar – fuel & food, 4.5 miles (trail accessible)
• Steuben Store – fuel & supplies, 2 miles (trail accessible)
• Shingleton – fuel, food at The Bears Den, plus convenience store, 8 miles (trail accessible)
• Road to the property is reliably plowed
• Large circle turnaround for trailers
• Parking for 5+ snowmobile trailers (20ft+)

We had a great stay at this property. Very well maintained with space to spread out. Kids as well as adults had a great time fishing from the dock. We had a medical emergency the last night of our stay and were very lucky that Abbey and Nick had provided a laminated sheet with all the information we needed to find assistance. Communication with them was very easy. Would stay here again!

Summer in the UP of Michigan didn’t disappoint! From kayaking, mountain biking, fishing, and hiking, to chasing waterfalls and swimming in the crisp waters of Lake Superior — every day was an adventure. Evenings were filled with bonfires, game nights, family laughs, loon calls echoing across the lake, and the perfect cocktails to top it all off. We just finished our one week stay at your house and we loved it!! We had so much room for the 9 of us (8 adults and 1 toddler) to spread out and loved being able to eat all together at the kitchen table. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, furniture was comfy, plenty of towels, kitchen was well stocked, kayaks and paddle board was a huge hit, grill worked great! We didn’t get to utilize the outdoors as much as we would have liked (for fires and outdoor eating ) because of the biting flies and mosquitoes but that is the UP in June. The lake was swimable, the fishing was good and location was perfect for catching the ORV trails. Two recommendations from the adult kids: another TV in the basement and a mattress topper for the pull-out couch. Would we stay here again if I came to the UP? Would I recommend to a friend? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!THANKYOU Abbey & Nick for having a fantastic rental property for us to use
